Dodge SRT-4 tunes?

I host a game online just about everynight, cars over 1000k no race models, HP under 400, SPORTS HARD tires.

My SRT-4 is not only the fastest FWD car I have for these settings, but one of the fastest cars I have period. It's not the easiest to drive to the full potential, but rewarding if you can.

Here's my setup

***I race with sports hard tires, so if you insist on running race soft tires (ur ghey), these settins may not work.

HP 400ish (depending on oil)

MANUAL trans (almost required)
no ABS, no TCS no ASM
Engine
Stage 3 Tuning
ECU tuning

Sports intake
Racing air filter

Sports exhaust manifold
sports cat
titanium exhuast

Turbo kit
*STOCK (Stock turbo kit is key to make linear power!)

Full race trans with standad settings, set to 199 -205 MPH, this works for most tracks

Adjustable LSD
28 Initial TQ
40 Acc. Sensitivety
10 Brake
(increase all for crappier tires / more HP, decrease for better tires / less HP)

Racing Flywheel
Twin Plate clutch

Full race suspension

Ride height -6 -5
Springs 6.2 10.8
Dampers ext 3 7
dampers rebound 3 6
Anti roll bars 1 7
Camber 2.2 .5
Toe -.05 -.15

Brakes 4/4 (maybe room here for improvement)

AERO 0/0 (You don't need rear down force in a FWD car, don't be an idiot!)

Tires SPORTS Hard

Driving strategy: First off, make sure you got a manual trans, because you need to launch this car off he limiter, IN SECOND gear. The RPMS will rise directly to redline, but you'll never hit the limiter, so maintain the smoke show until the tires grip and car pulls past redline and hit third around 62ish MPH. Exiting corners in a tall gear is key. The car has good low end with the stock turbo kit, so this allows you pull 3rd gear in corners 40 MPH an higher, keeping the tires from lighting up. Don't waste time in the redline, and hitting the rev limiter, if you know the tires are going to spin, short shift. The car turns in fantastic, almost too much, so lift, turn in hard, and pull yourself out of the corner in a tall gear.

This car is FAST for a car over 1000kg, and just 400HP

How fast? (keep in mind these are sports hard tires)

high 1'35's at Trial mountain
low 58's at Tskuba

Someone build this car and see if they can dublicate those times.

Add me, my name is Fuzzy Buns on PS network if you want to race.

This tune does actually work well for me when I fit the mid-range turbo and Racing-Soft tyres. I got a 1:27.911 on Trial Mountain, and I'm not the best of drivers.

A lot of people who obviously don't know jack about the SRT-4 in this thread.

Honda's VS SRT-4? are you freaking kidding? My roommate has an SRT-4 with a 65 trim turbo and built motor making 550 FWHP all day long.

Try doing that with a freaking civic for the same price...

Enjoy spending what the car is worth in order to compete with an nSRT4.

December 1st i started a new trial just for me.
I started modifying all the FWD cars for Tsukuba to see how fast are they!!!
I didn't take pics for the cars but i have made a file with times.
1st time Honda Integra Type R RM 54,125sec,2nd Trial Celica 54,135sec
From all the cars Dodge SRT-4 has the 3rd time which is 54,150!!!
I'll try to break the 54sec mark and this is a benchmark time for these cars.

Over 600 HP for a 4 cylinder front wheel drive car? Realistically you would only see that in some kind of funky drag car. Running nitrous. PD is being silly with this.
There is what's possible and what's reasonable. Check the SRT4 forums http://www.srtforums.com/ for what guys are really getting with stage 3 turbos and nitrous, just about 450hp. And GT5 isn't even modeling the use of nitrous. Those cars don't race laps very well but go to drag strips, not autocross.

I DO like the real car, always wanted one, but come on now!

And if you can't get the SRT4 to turn under power THAT is realistic! Torque steer would be off the charts! There is a reason that there aren't race series in real life running 600 hp front wheel drive cars!

Personally I read race magazines for ideas and try to duplicate their cars in GT5, I'm going to do this with an SRT4 tonight (if I can find one!) This allows me to race my favorite cars close to "reality."
Stage 3 cars can make 450whp without the use of nitrous.. just run C16 or E85. Dynos read differently what matters is track tiimes. There are 600+whp Neon SRT-4's that are NOT drag cars but street driven.

to get 600 hp you need the mid rpm turbo not the high rpm turbo

this will also push torque over 600 which is stupid as these cars almost never push 600 IRL and if they do they are built hard.

and BTW person above me, 600 HP is easy for a B16. Not the 2.4 Neon Engine though. There are many B16's and B18's pushing 600-800 WHP and many D16's that have above 400 meant for street that arent built very much at all
LOL @ 600hp being easy for a B16 or any other Honda motor but "not easy" for the Neon SRT-4's motor.. both take a lot of money to make that power.

So PD nerfs the Supra, not just the MKV's but the MKIII's as well, and then lets a Neon push past 500hp? The Supra MKIII has been pushed up to 700BHP. Here's an example, look at post 35. http://www.supraforums.com/forum/showthread.php?322998-MK3-Dyno-Sheet-Thread/page2.
And there are plenty of MKV's pulling way past 1000hp, here's one video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fzMI4DoYl04&feature=related.

This kinda stuff just gets on my nerves, why would PD nerf the Supra, and the GTR's for that matter, and then let a 4 banger reach unrealistic power?
Unrealistic??? What is unrealistic? Honestly, I believe the SRT-4 should be bumped up to 700hp with a full out build. I think the Supras should be upwards of 1000whp+ with a full out build as well as GTR's. It's not unrealistic.

Thats just not right, I mean a Fully tuned Supra (I thin the Turbos were using the 1JZ in the 90s) would rip the doors off a fully tuned SRT4 IRL.
LOLLL are we talking about stock turbo'd 1JZ vs a stock turbo'd SRT-4? Or are we talking about a full out build? If you take each car and build it with no money limit, of course the RWD car is gonna win.

Yes of course but it's the front wheel drive that kills your handling/ traction at 600 hp. Any project car can always push over a thousand hp with special fuel or huge turbos but that isn't a race car.
I hope PD puts drag racing back in the game for this kind of thing.
Definitely does suck for traction but boost by gear will be nice. I made 297whp/405wtrq on a dynodynamics in 92 degree weather on the stock turbo and traction sucks on the street. I wish they would put actual drag slicks in this game with a real tree and you could actually tune it more(AFR's, timing, etc.. and have knock) I wish they had real aftermarket parts too(Precision, Garrett, etc..) and BETTER sound effects(external wastegates, different BOV's, different exhaust, louder realistic spool). Ahh we can only dream I guess.

Well the SRT does make a lot a lot of torque, there is a Stage 2 Mopar SRT riding around up here that makes 450HP and like 480 ft/lbs. granted that is on 25lbs of boost and on the water/meth. the 400HP civic up here, who uses a B18 bottom end, only makes like 230ft/lbs and also revs out to like 8500 or 9000. I don't remember exactly on the dyno sheet but I know it was over 8K, just not sure if it was .5K or 1K higher. I get what you mean though, 600ft/lbs in an SRT would require a whole lot of boost down low and a crap load of ignition timing, which may be possible in GT5 but the real world doesn't exactly work that way.
He isn't only a "stage 2" car then... he has a bigger turbo.. probably a stage 3 turbo since he's making 450/480. Stage 2 is included with the stage 3. Stage 1 is just stock injectors for 04 and 05's and a PCM. Stage 2 is a wastegate actuator, bigger injectors, PCM, and if you get with toys, an intercooler sprayer and HOM(high octane mode). A stage 3 is the turbo upgrade... it'll say "MOPAR" on the turbo. It's a 16g. There are also big wheeled stage 3's that can be nasty. 600ft/lbs of torque in a skittle is dreaming.. would take a lot of money for that.

Well they do have to replace the turbos when they get them up to massive horsepower. And there are some cases of the Supra's being fitted with anti lag systems so the power is there all the time. The SRT's can't make 600hp, and 600 torque, not in real life at least.
LOL @ misinformed people thinking they know everything about every car in real life. SRT-4's can make 600whp and 600wtrq in real life. Maybe not the same car, but it can be done like stated 600whp/450ish torque. 600whp/600trq in a SRT-4 could probably be made with a Stage 3 turbo or a small "big" turbo and spray on top of that.

Well yes that's granted with the Supra, anybody who would modify a Supra should know that the turbos can only go so far. And I've never seen a 600/600 SRT, most in the 600HP range make like 450tq and even the higher ones typically make only about 510ish respectively. I respect all motors though.
This.

Mine's getting more hp and torque with a mid rpm turbo

silly dodge engineers forgot to make the engine go past 7900 rpm
No need to rev out to 7900 when you're yanking the fu** out of many cars by shifting at 5700 LOL. Low compression man. There are some that rev to 7900 and passed that ;)

This... seriously. I mean they are all FWD sh**boxes anyways.
