This is also the case between the Fairlady Z LM Racecar and the 350Z version. One has significantly more hp than the other, though i forget which.

The Fairlady has almost 100 horsepower over the 350Z version.

I believe this issue is down to the AI sucking and PD modelling certain cars to be a bit faster than they really are, for soft spots, milestones, etc.

Did some searching and couldn't come up with any results. If there's a thread for this already, please direct me to it. Otherwise..

Has anybody noticed how there are often 2 Vipers when racing in the 24 Hours of Le Mans? 1 is the Dodge #91, one is the Chrysler #51. Both cars are nearly identical, the only noticeable difference from the outside are more decals on the Chrysler version.

What I've noticed, is that the Dodge version ALWAYS finishes ahead of the Chrysler version. Usually by a few laps.

I checked the booklet I got with the GT5 Collector's Edition, and it lists the cars as the same in both weight and power. Has anybody else noticed this? And if so, do you know why these cars are so different in performance?
I just did some research and it states that due to there being import regulations with Europe that some vipers were considered “Chrysler vipers” due to where it was sold out of the United States.
