I have a subscription to Hemmings Muscle Machines. It's a very well-written muscle car magazine (NOT like Hot Rod, etc.). I would highly recommend it to any musclecar guy/girl.

I love car mags, I'm subscribed to more than two. I think they are: Hot Rod Magazine, Hemmings Muscle Machine, Muscle Car Enthusiast, Mopar Action, Car & Driver, and I don't subscribe to these but my grandpa gave me a bunch of SIA (Special Interest Autos), as well as Cars & Parts. I keep most of my magazines too, so I always have reading material. :)

I used to have subscriptions to almost 20 different car mags...ranging from muscle to import to mainstream stuff like Road & Track. But when I got the internet I quit subscribing. You can find more than enough info, pics, videos, etc. of cars out there for much cheaper that way. The only magazine I still have a subscription to now is Super Street. My uncle bought me a 3-year sub last Christmas so I'm stuck with it for awhile...

McLaren F1GTR
Road & Track
Automobile
Car and Driver
Motor Trend

and 1 that's just nice to look at...

DuPont Registry Cars.

But trust me, DuPont is extremely more expensive comparing its 1 year subscription to R&Ts.

I just subscribed to 2 new magazines today.
BMW Magazine
Roundel

Right now, I have free subs. to Road & Track. I don't purchase magazines, but I read my friends' or the ones at work. Occasionally, I buy random "import car" magazines and Japanese car mags.

had subscription with rallyxs and as so many things in my life it went out of print so they gave me autosport for the remainder of my subscription, which i liked. it's a weekly magazine from the u.k.
but i need some advice here, i live in the states and i would like to subscribe to a magazine that is along the lines of TopGear, Car, or EVO magazine, something with european style but with domestic subscription pricing.
thanks

I buy Car And Driver every month, I don't subscribe due to my tiny mail slot in my appartment, I hate getting magazines all crumples and bent...really pisses me off, I'd rather pay the newstand price. Also get 'Modified' once in awhile as well as 'Excellence'.

Yeah, I get every C&D issue and read 'em cover-to-cover too...

so car and driver it will be, i bought a magazine called automoblie it had gt40, the zo6, and the viper on the cover that mag was simply horrible i did not even bother finish reading any of the articles that i started.

I read a few every now and again - Top Gear, evo, CAR, Autosport, Autocar, and a couple of more specialist ones (MiniWorld and MiniMagazine) - but I only get them if I'm bored, as something to do whilst I'm, say, waiting for a train, or as a passenger on a long car journey.

Any Aussie in here know what has happened to Speed magazine? I used to buy every issue of it but I haven't seen a copy for months, whereever I look. Has it shut down?

I have subscriptions to Road&Track and Car&Driver.

I bought myself an issue of Top Gear when I was in Germany, and then I got back from the trip and found out that they were available at Barnes and Noble! I also bought an issue of Auto Motor und Sport while over there...

Wow, I am quite surprised that no one has mentioned SPEED (magazine from the editors of R&T) I would highly recommend SPEED, its a bimonthly mag and I've got a subscription to it and read it cover to cover. I've also got a subscription to C&D and buy SCC, Evo, and Max Power when they look interesting.

I've bought a couple issues of SPEED. The first issue was fantastic...the second wasn't so fantastic...

I've only ever bought one copy of R&D: Speed and I wasn't impressed at all with it. R&D is an awesome mag but stick to factory cars guys, there are magazines that deal exclusively with modifed cars and they do it much better than you do. I know that they're just trying to get more market share but still....

I order Automobile Magazine and reads it cover to cover.

I sometimes borrow other magazines like C&D, R&T from the library too.

The cool thing about SPEED is that it brings R&T's high-quality writing to that genre of automotive enthusiasm. Also, the two issues I've read featured some interesting comparisons and articles, including a GT4 preview in the form of a road test comparing the HSC and NSX, and a track test between the Viper and Elise.
