I could personally care less about either one, I collect interesting cars, it's a game with virtual money and virtual cars, milage, switches, wins doesn't matter.

Everyone just loves zero miles and zero switches cars in the Marketplace

Rubbish. Some people do fo'sho', but not everyone. That's what makes 'them' them and 'us' us.

I disagree based of my personal experienced. I got (2) GTR Tuned GT Academy Edition. One was used and the other was with 0/0 switch/miles on it. No matter how much i modified and rebuilt the engine of the used one, it's horsepower won't come close to my 0/0 car that i personally modified, run and maintained. And it is a lot faster. Anyone noticed this too?

You have to race it for awhile and the horsepower will stat to raise. My C9 has grown by around 20 HP since I got it.

driving a zero mileage car does not mean you will win against someone with the same car with 10k miles in it.

Exactly.

How many wins the car has is absolutely pointless, who the hell cares? An XJ13 with 0 wins is the same as an XJ13 with 20 wins. Hell the 0 win car might have less chassis and engine damage...

0 switches= Important because no one modified the car.

0 miles= Important because the car has perfect chassis rigidity and engine.

0 wins= Pointless, maybe the other owner didn't drive the car, or was not very skilled...

Your going to modify it anyways.

You can just restore the car.

It's always nice to have a winning car. If the original driver wasn't really good then that's where restoring it comes in.

Your quite cheap, oh boo hoo it has miles and I have to spend my own money to restore it! 👎

I like 0/0 because I like to test cars (against each other, or to just have fun) in Arcade Mode, and since the stats of the cars don't change there when you race they'll always keep 0/0. It kinda bugs me if I see the oil has to be changed so the power isn't as optimal as it could be, while still being a complete stock car.

It's just the idea really, and a collecting thing perhaps.

To me wins wouldn't mean anything, as there are so little restrictions for races, and you could've raced 1000 races and only won 20.
I don't think it works for a video game, 10 wins in a video game would just be a number, while 10 wins in reality would mean something to me. :)

Although I must say, I've never even traded a car with someone else.

neither nor
i win not the car :)
i care even less on milage (for me a car has been (dunno the correct term) "driven in" (as of running good)) when it has over 200k on it :)

Miles aren't really a big fuss to me. Wins are also meh.

Not bothered about any of it for trading, I can see why they might to someone else but it's never been an issue for me.

Win count probably has more of an impact on my view of the cars in my own garage, I always thought the BMW 2002 was excellent but my modifications meant it got me loads of wins at the beginning of GT5 and my Bob's did really well with it too. That car's one of my all time favourites now.
Equally there's cars other people really rate in the game and that I think are amazing in real life but I just don't like them in GT5.

well, 100 wins could mean:
100 wins grinding indy
or
100 wins in GTP's FIA GT Cup with the best of GT5's online players.

No, cause maybe they are just racing against cars with square wheels

Well about what races the car has participated in? What if there was a car that won 2 times at 4 hours of nurburgring?
