Does the borrow exploit still work?

I used to use the borrow expliot to "trade" cars that where over Cr. 1.000.000. What do I mean? A friend puts car online, I borrow it, I save game, I delete game data, I start the game un-updated, I get into another car, I update the game, I start the game and presto, I (used to?) have my very own Cr. 1.000.000+ car).

Does anyone know if it still works? I only want 2 more cars to compete my barage. But both are over Cr. 1.000.000 and over 600 in-game days away...

Depends on two things, your Internet and wether you're wired or wireless, it can range from an hour to a few hours so buckle down and watch some tv or something time consuming like homework XD

Yes it still works and I'm honestly not sure on the new Academy cars, I have yet to seen positive verification of someone who has actually tried, i might borrow mine on my second account on my other ps3 tomorrow to see if it actually does or doesn't...

Correct, the disc has all the patches included up to 2.0. You only need to get the updates after that, not much really.

I am putting the academy car borrow trick into action starting now before I go to bed, I will run updates while I'm asleep and let everyone know 100% yes or no if it works on academy cars!!! 👍
