I have a domain I have been thinking of selling. I won't name it here because it could be seen as advertising. But I was wondering if anyone here knows where I'd be able to sell it. I prefer to avoid eBay.

Also, it's a good domain and comes up #5 on two major search engines with general, widely used search terms, #13 on the others, and #1 with a more specific, regional search. Is that enough information to estimate it's value?

The rankings are based solely on traffic. No paid services have been used.

Take a look at Afternic. They would probably be the best place to sell your domain name, but they also offer an appraisel service to give you an idea of how much to ask for your name. Good luck! And go ahead and post the domain name, I'm curious now.

It's a really difficult question. I've been approached to sell one of my domains, but I don't really know how much to charge - especially since it doesn't have a site attached to it at the moment.
