I am the stupidest person in the world. I used my HDMI cable on my dads 3D T.V and changed the video settings. I did the System Restoration - Quick Format. Little did I know it would erase my Game Data. I HAD a backup on my USB which i deleted by accident and I have to RESTART the whole game. I was 57% Complete. I threw my controller out the window. I got a new one but I am a little pissed. Also I had beaten the VETTLE CHALLENGE IN GOLD. I would appreciate any donations.:grumpy::ouch::grumpy::grumpy::grumpy::grumpy::grumpy:

Huh, strange. I had to do this 3 different times and mine never erased my saves. I probly can put cars up on share then i can send some starting on the 24th when i get back home.
 
I could also put up a few cars for you to use and I can send a red bull x10 ticket

Not disputing the validity of your claim, but how exactly did you manage to both Reformat you HDD in the PS3 AND also delete the gamesave on your USB stick?

That explanation should be posted, just so others could avoid the same pitfalls.

The USB Stick and the HDD in your PS3 are not even connected physically are they??? Your USB Stick should still have the data even if the entire drive is wiped clean.

That is a new one on me, and I thought that I had heard it all.......
 
hey bud, sorry to hear that. please send me FR, i will put one of my F1's on share so you can do seasonals to earn CR's. I can also put up my X2010 on share so you can use it while i'm asleep (different timezone). when november comes, i have lots of free days to send out cars of your choice.

Also this is wierd for me too. I always use the HDMI cable and when I use the Quick Format only my regular settings got deleted. Im more pissed at myself then the PS3. I read what would happen and I was too lazy to make a backup.

Oh, I see.

About a year ago, after having some issues with gamesaves, corruption, and accidental deletes, I went out to the after-Thanksgiving sales and bought about 10-15 USB sticks for $5 each. I have 1 USB Stick per account , and my 3 best accounts each have 2 USB sticks. I double backup to those accounts daily. Also, once a week, I copy each USB Backup to a specific folder on my PC that has the name of that account. In the case that Iever have a USB stick go bad, or delete the info on that USB stick, I still have a gamesave that is only a week old. I may lose some progress, but not all.

Once again, sorry to hear of your misfortune.
 
I can put up a audi r10 for endurance races and. A ferarri f2007 for doing seasonal events.

I know it's not amazing but do you want a Toyota Celica TRD M sport. I'm rather new round here so I don't have much to offer but I feel your pain as this happened to me! :(

Not at all in my opinion. It gives us a reason to log on every day. Learn some patience. If you could do everything in the game in one day, it would lose it's replayablilty and interest.

SWERV, I completely understand your point. So I will retract that comment. Like GTP Cargo_Rat you are one of the most respected members of the community.
 
Why not use data recovery program and recover the deleted files of the usb and should be fine, the program you need is called file scavenger and works 100% of time i used on pc files as big as 4gig which are games so should be ok !!!

ANYWAY LET ME KNOW WHAT CARS BE HELPFUL ON BORROW AS WELL AND THEY BE PUT UP FOR YOU, MAY EVEN SEND YOU A DECENT CAR AS WELL !!!

I'm back on GTP not PS3(I'm grounded). I've baught 1 F1 and have over 5 Mill. No need to post though. Thanks for the help.
