Don't get your hopes up

Alot of people seem very exited about this picture from GT4

this picture is quite old. And, why do you say don't get your hopes up? Its just a ss of a car running in a replay.

A replay view from GT3 ...

I know this doesn't really PROOF anything, but don't get too exited about one screenshot. We have yet to see a movie of someone driving, using this view in GT4 - And I don't think it will happen.

Who would use either of those viewing angles? Thy're both highly unrealistic. Unless you stand on your roof and look down at the hood when you drive.

I've set my expectations low.

Patience? where in either of my post didn't I show patience? I simple pointed out that the first was a screenshot and that it wasn't a driving view.

i saw the video that that first picture came from, and it was just a replay.

If you hadn't noticed, the GTO screenshot has a lower veiwpoint (about the middle or bottom of the windsreen) which is a level shot with the horizon, and in the GT40 shot the camera appears to be on the roof facing down...

Either way in real life you cant see that much of your hood. The best game with a realistic view is that nascar game you see at places like dave and busters, same with that 355 challenge game.

GT4 would do a lot better job if they wanted that view. I have gotten to used to an external view now, I just like to look at myself drive. Even in real life I liek to see people driving my car just to see what it looks like taking corners, sliding sideways etc..

The GT40 pic is from a GT3 replay the GTO pic is a GT4 replay, and I've seen the video it came from so it's not an in game view. I would like a bonnet cam but a realistic one where the cameras lower and straighter like in ToCa.

I think it is now you mention it, the GTO doesn't have stripes.

the only view i use is the therd person view its the easiest to use IMO

Oh well doesn't matter what car it is.

And whether it is in a replay or not, the developers would have still programmed that view to be changed to, during a replay.
