"That's the reason I made this one. To "shut up" people like you. but you still came and ran your mouth.Just leave if you don't like drifting."

...

Is it that hard to understand why a person would take offence to coments like this? I think all the bickering is rediculous. There is a forum for drifting, why not use it. And I think to start a thread with comments stating if you don't agree with me then leave, to people who have been on this forum and contribute way more is hysterical. I think drifting is cool, but still only use it maybe 2% of the time. But that's my personal preferance, and you can have your's to. It's when you classify any other style of driving other than your own as wrong, and use it against people, is when it's a load of BS.

As others have mentioned, there is a Drifting Forum that is open for conversation on the subject. Please keep all drifting conversations there. Thank you. :)

I know there is a forum for drifting.(sorry)but I created this before it was.So I guess this thread is done.

PEACE:)

i love drifting, i found out about the japanese drifting scene a few years back and i totally loved it, its kinda like how drag racing is popular here in north america, over there its drifting.

Would the drifters here like me to move this thread to the Drifting forum or simply close it? I would gladly move it, but that doesn't seem to make sense, since the title states "don't hate drifting", and obviously people in the drifting forum don't hate drifting... on the other hand, I don't want to just hastily close this thread. Any preferences?

Give it the axe I, say. Man...if only I had admin powers around here.

My point wasn't that I hate drifting, far from it. It's just not realistic or useful, even in the GT-gaming world. I mean, you can make driving on circuits backwards ("Wrong Way!") a serious issue, but that doesn't mean it's practical.

In any case, it's not of any use to me. i'm not knocking anyone for havig fun with the game. You need to do a little drift in places like the chicane at Grand Valley, a turn or two at Trial Mountain, or the tight spot at Tahiti Road. But I'd never purposely set up my car to drift through those corners if it didn't gain me time over a complete lap.

And that's what racing is all about. Not about top speed. Not about looking good through one or two corners. It's about the perfect lap, or in a greater sense, the perfect race.

Okay, I'll be closing this then, since it seems to have no purpose now. ;)
