True, but you have to do what's required to get the times! And 2 gears @ 100 in top in a GT40 would put you in 3rd, which would be right! ;)

 :rotfl:

i just made a guess. i haven't made it to the s license yet.

I actually had a friend fall asleep in a race, LOL. We were running 40 laps of bone stock 93 style civic hatchbacks on trial mountain. He's got an excuse tho, I think he's got narcolepsy, for real! I remember that race well, I was flying up the straight and noticed his green civic pulled up by the bank. I was like, what are you doing idiot and he was asleep, quickly woke up and we finished the last 5 laps, me winning of course :D I really hate it, (as many have said), when you turn off the system and didn't save, or go sell a big car to experiment with a car, get it running great, go run an enduro with it, win, get 100,000 credits and a new car just to find you forgot to reload after you sold your CLK to get some money to mess with..

Howabout when you run an enduro race and it automatically saves the first 50 laps, but leaves the ending out!!! I'd rather it save the second half so I can see the end-of-race action. Actually, seeing how small the replays actually are, why not save a whole enduro? (after getting worn out playing one I like to sit and eat and watch the replay like if I were watching a real race. am I warped? ;) )

You stay up all night racing an enduro, only to realize it's 5am and you have to work at 7.

You get the escudo, work hard to supe it all the way, then realize your not good enough to race it anywhere.

Pink Vitz......Well, enough said...

Friends come over to play arcade mode and think they can use the cars YOU WORKED SO HARD FOR in YOUR garage. HA!

The Cobra costs 500,000 (com'on it's a nice car, but 500,000)

You race a race over and over, trying to get all 4 prize cars only to realize, 16 tries later, you already had 2 of them....

That's all for now.....My eyes hurt.

This is unfortunately true for the series where you complete the races only.

If you can one car picked randomly from four (ie. championships in Professional league and the enduros) then you can continue to run them and win cars.

Only thing I can suggest is starting another game from scratch, winning it, and then doing a transfer between the games.

Can you do that with a single Memory Card ?? I'd love to get my Benz CLK Touring Car back, which I foolishly and absent mindedly sold when intending to hit "Change Car" (and fancy that : I actually CONFIRMED the sale !!! I'm a total idiot !!!)

Please tell me if possible... Thanks... :nervous:

i hated doing the cote d azur s licence and failling by 0.003...that sucked ass especially after 45 mins of it
i then got my own ps2 and did it in 10

i also hate the way the escudo just wont turn

the escudo IS a good car! you just need to know how to drive it. remove the stage 4 turbo and put super-soft tyres on it. then it works just fine.

oh my god! i hate that 🤬 cote de azur s-final test! the 🤬🤬:censored:car kept :censored:spinning out on the :censored:first 🤬 corner! what a :🤬🤬🤬 piece of 🤬!! there is abso-🤬-lutely no way I will 🤬 EVER race one of those!!

Well true, but I actually wanted at least a Speed 12, GT1-Road Car, or the Fo90/S. However, I will win an F1! :D

yeah, slamming the car down two gears at 100+ mph in top gear will get it a little kitty-wompus, but in reality you'd blow the trans or shoot a rod out thru the oil pan.

Ah, i know a kid from my school that did that. Except he was going 60, he FORCED it to shift into 1st gear, the car wouldn't let him and he FORCED it. Hmm.. I wonder why. He blew his entire transmission, and threw all the rods. It was a VERY nice car too! Now it can only be towed across a finish line.

And that stupid pink Vitz, why is it as much as it is to buy? It should cost 2,000, if even that! Who in the right mind would buy it? I won the thing and I sold it right away.

Oh some more things I hate...

-When your brother changes the TV channel when your on the last lap and going through a 90º turn.

-You push the emergency brake, spin the car. And spin it across the finish line so you can watch how cool it looks in the replay. You then realize that wasn't the last lap. Your now backwards, against the wall, and 15 seconds behind the 5th place car... who's 15 seconds behind 4th place. (This happened to me... it sucked big time... 1st to 6th like THAT...)

Ha! :D I did that the other day, but luckily I was wasting the competition in my F686 car so I didn't lose any places.

Audible statement amongst all those "beeps" for censoring, you actually ran the S-8 with an ESCUDO ?????????? :reallyodd:

Escudo.......
Truly the Booby Prize.......

On thing that got me Propper annoyed was the fact that the Computers cars mileages reset. I had a fresh GT-One race car in the Pro Gran Turismo world championships. After the Sixth race the Oil light comes on. I looked at the CPU cars Mileage Meter and every race IT RESETS TO 0. WHAT DO THEY DO DROP A NEW ENGINE IN EVERY 10 LAPS!!

I've never noticed that before.

Man... you've got WAY too much time on your hands.

Hey man I work from 9:45 till 6:15 and on the weekdays im to knackered to do anything else apart from excercise and watch the simpsons.
 :D

lol, I've done this several times b4... luckily though, every time I was able to recover fast enough to win. :D

Here are my contributions:

-You get a cramp in your hand in the middle of an enduro, thus causing you to slam into a nearby wall in top gear.
-You accidentally hold R2, so while you are frantically trying to downshift, you're cussing at the DS2 and wondering why it's not working (this has actually happened to me numerous times... for some reason, I have a habit of holding on to the R2 button after upshifting)
-You get stuck on a curb at Rome or Monaco because your suspension's too low. :p
-You find out that the R390 car can last 20 laps without pitting.
-You decide that you're too far ahead and the race is boring, so you decide to play "knock the AI into the walls/sand traps", then find out that on the last lap you get stuck yourself and lose the d:censored:ed race.
-You're ahead, then hit a guardrail. "No big deal," you say to yourself, since you're ahead by 5 seconds. As you turn your car, every single AI car comes along and rams you back into the wall, though somehow they all continue along like nothing happened.
-You go too fast on Dark Forest II, and you spin out at the corner where you're supposed to downshift to 4th. (Happens to me all the time)
-You get a car that wears out the tires in a radically uneven way; by the time the fronts are bright yellow, the rears are still blueish-green.
-Your car is 400HP+ more powerful than the AI's, but there is no way that you can knock them around (like into the pit), yet when they give you a gentle nudge you go sliding into the wall.
-Your Escudo's spoiler gets stuck on a wall. (Seems to act like some kind of force!)
-You misscalculate the minimum amount of wins you need for a Series Race.
-The second place car's engine noise gets lodged into your head.

Whew!
