Replace "Cobraboy" with "SandStorm", and now you're talking.

My mistake. But does the difference really come into play?

Can you believe it? I feel so... um... something.

Maybe when a thread is closed but you had something to say, you could post a link to it here, and say what you had to say. I could be the "If I had the chance I would've said..." thread.

There was this little gem I created. I laughed my butt off when I read the whole thing a few months back.

Mostly, my beef's been with deleted threads.

One time, Deathawk closed a thread after his initial post, saying how the avatar/title requirements should be remain the same. Meanwhile, that's easy for a postwhore, so he goes ahead and gets the other 7 replies deleted because he thought he's the final authority on the subject, making the point of an internet forum meaningless.

Accusing ferrari_dreams of spamming and postwhoring was fun for a while, but he and the thread got deleted. Fun while it lasted.

By the way, Pako, moderators can post in closed threads without reopening them. That little lock is just for show. Just another perk of wearing the uniform.

This is absurd, I do not like all these common words banned. I oughta beat the **** out of that guy who made a thread like this.

ROTFLMFAO!!! LOLZ!

Pupik, ur such a biatch.

That is why I always close the thread first, then I post my final response. It's handy how that works, but we really don't need to get into Moderator Duty Details do we? ;)

Tell us more.

Is that why I'll get an email notification of a new post by you, and when I click on it I get a screen that says "You are a peon. Go away"?

...and you maybe didn't notice the little lock next to the link before you clicked on it, and after reading through it you have a great comment to throw on the heap but then you see neon duke's, Pako's, GIles', or sn00pie's final word, and a big "thread closed" on the reply button?

I hate that. I wish i was a mod just so I could always have the last word. It's not fair, right Der Alta?

That happens a lot to me...:(

 Yeah, that must be why..... :trouble:

Don't you hate it even more when a thread should be closed?

Okay here's post one in the "I would've said" thread. Regarding the Brittany Spears Fiasco...

How crude and vulgar. Must have come from a crude and vulgar person.

Nobody cares.

Fake!

Now see.... Part of the point of the thread being closed is so that we don't have to relive, in this case, the vulgarity of a thread that has already been closed.

Here's a good one. A thread was closed and when I read my post in it I realized it was totally incomprehensible. When I pressed "edit" I was not allowed. So now my stupid post is out there forever, making me look bad. I hate that.

Threads are closed for a reason.

Consider it a "Must do better" to the contributing members from the moderating staff.

That's why you should hate it when a thread is closed.
