When your an admin and your trying to add things. While it keeps you awake, when you have work in the morning.

At least I have all Monday morning to sleep, i feel the forum i made is keeping me up because i,m working so hard on it. After getting an FTP account sorted out for the forum mates.

I've made like, 20, over the last year for various stuff. Many have been forgotten, though.
 
I know the feeling; I decided not to change my forum to a black design, it's just to much for me without a online guide. Just some small color changes here and there, and maybe over time I will change/add features.

One thing that stands out the most in my opinion, is icon post for each individual forum. :nervous:
 
i like it too it keeps me busy all day!
i also made a forum today and i worked hard on it.
only the hardest thing is to get members :(
i did some experimenting with these html codes and it workes quite well but today i made another forum because it works more easier.

Yep. Forums tend to be pretty slow for a long time. If they are really good word will spread, lots of links will be posted by people, google will find it, and then more randoms will find it! :D

Just have to be patient.

I've got another up and running now. It's a nice change from forums about cars, as there's loads of them. Computer help forums, not so much. I haven't seen many anyway.
 
Yeah, I have created loads, but none of them are successful. :( lThe last one i had, had 8 members, and 6 of them had no posts. My most successful has 54 posts (some in an admin forum) and is in my sig, and if you visit it you will see how much time i spend on my site. :)
 
wel my forum has 7 members and 35 posts in 1day time, that's what i like!
it's already a quite big forum and i made it yesterday and worked the whole day on it.
today i added some extra things etc. it has now 21 forums in 7 catagories.

BTW: those 7 members are from another forum about GT4 (gt4world) and they are 7 of the 8 active members on that forum so i know them very well.
 
I think you’re making it too-big too-fast. If you don’t get any more members, relatively quickly, it may fall on its face because there are too many places to post and not enough people. :indiff:

I assume those 7 members are friends?

I aggree; makes it seam less active as well.
