Hello.

I was wondering if anyone had some sights with information on door poppers and how to install them? It doesnt make a whole lot of sense to me atm:banghead: . When you shave off the door handle wouldnt there still be a indentation in the door? Any help is greatly appreciated. ;)

not sure of any sites that offer this, but im sure there out there. i dont think its took hard to do the instalation. my buddy did it and he knows an average amount about do-it-yourself stuff. and if you get someone to shave the door handles that is good at it, you wouldnt be able to tell at all. it looks like it came from the factory like that!

Personally, I like the look of "pop doors" however, I would rather have door handles such as those on the Ford Probe or the Geo Storm.
Smooth look without having to rely on electrics to get the door open.
Dead battery = Broken window.

When you shave doors you remove the handel and the lock. You then fill it in with steel or aluminium then grind it flush with the body lines. There is a tool out there, forget the name but it helps you keep the body line.

The door poppers are nothing more then a remote lever that pulls the door latch down causing the door to open. Most of these are done by remotes, but there are some manual ones that require you to pull a lever or push a button installed under the car.

Also if you have a remote popper, its smart to instal a manual so you can get in to your car.

I'd say check a car forum with what your car is to figure out all the stuff you need. But its pretty much all included in a kit, try stylinconcepts.com to look for a kit. I'm sure they have them.
