Hello friends, is my first topic in the GTPlanet, it is a pleasure to write in this forum ...
I wanted to know .. If there GT6 the temperature the tires? ..It exists in the bottom drawing blue tires...OK.. Are supposed taking temperature with time?It gets red when the car skids ...Only serves for that? No use to warm the tires? Does anyone notice the difference if the tires less grip in the early laps?

Thanks . . .

I haven't noticed a decrease in traction too badly but I have noticed if I drive really hard that by the end of the race the tires have slightly faded to more of a light orange color.

I'm not to the parts of the game where I've heard there is a real time value; well, other than skids and spin outs... People tell that tire wear becomes important in offline racing where pit stops are part of the experience. I'd extrapolate that online racing, especially endurance events or time trials with accelerated time base would also bring tire wear to the front.

Also, as I understand it, if you do a radical (maladjusted?) camber and / or toe, adjustment in tuning you can get the indicators to light up. If you're lucky when skidding/spinning you might see one of the tires indicate which one breaks free first, potentially giving insight to just how the car is handling.

You can use the visual heat indicators as a tuning tool. If the front tires are turning yellow or red then you are pushing and need to make adjustments to reduce understeer. If the rears are turning red then you need to increase rear traction through adjustments to the suspension or the LSD (assuming FR). Beyond that it soes provide some indication of wear so you know whe you need to pit for tires if endurance racing.

Thank you for the answers. I refer only to the temperature, not to the wear of tires. Does the temperature of the tires exist in GT6?

I think very light orange might be the optimum temperature. It starts off blue which is cold and less grippy then doesn't really change much in colour even though it seems like there is more grip after a few corners.

Omar, when we speak of the tire indicators changing, we are speaking of overheat. However, unless there is some telemetry addition when / if they bring the team management back and when / if they have an engineers telemetry feed from the tyres we might actually get numbers ( or, at least a graphic?)

Online with penalties and damage on heavy there will be less traction in a red tyre and from debris caught from the roadside while going of the road.

yes, I find that most 1st laps are less grippy than subsequent laps, at least with comfort soft and racing hards, so I *think there's a warmup (a couple laps in and things get consistent). To be honest, I don't pay attention to the indicators much. A *very hot tire (red) is going to grip poorly though, at least that's what I'd think.
