Downgrading for X1 Glitch

Have tried and tried and tried some more but I cannot get it!

So how do you go about downgrading?

Will I lose my save files and pictures if I do downgrade?

I actually wanted to detune mine for the new Suzuka Time Trial, but it won't let me. I'd be smoother if the car were LESS powerful, I think. I wanted to cut power down to about 50%, but couldn't do it.

Your save file should be fine (make a back up in case the file size glitch happens). I think your replays will be deleted as will your best times on certain events. I'm not sure about photos or racing gear though.

I don't think it's possible to get the appropriate patch to break out and gold Vettel.

You can borrow glitch a colored and carbon X1 though. I can provide both.

That could work.
You will lose your current gear (yours and your six drivers'), your replays and pics, and custom tracks. Maybe I forgot something.
You will keep your cars/tickets/paints.
Thumbnails might get lost to.

Best lap/replay/photo/track are not part of (saved file) but (game data)...If you want to keep your photo/replay you should export them to the xmb menu and keep them there or from the xmb to usb key/external hard drive....

1:25 is more than enough time to get round Suzuka in the X2010 - my brother drove it for the first time (he doesn't play much) last night and made it in 1:21 - a gold time.

Why the heck would you want to go through the pain of rolling back all the updates just to cheat it?

If that's how you feel, I suggest you put the disk back it its box and return to where you bought it for a refund.

Or maybe trade it in for a Wii and a copy of mariocart.

I believe the OP was asking about the S.V. Challenge in Special Events, not Seasonal.

You can downgrade to 1.10 by deleting your game data. When you start up the game, download the first 6 patches and as soon as number 7 starts press the red circle.
