DPC: Week 21 Entry

OK, I think I'll order it. Is £36.21 ($64.90) with free worldwide postage a good price or is there somewhere I can get it cheaper? Thanks for the help.

BrykeSpike0086, you need to brighten your pics... a lot! They are good pictures but you can barely tell what they are.

I noticed earlier that you posted 87% of the pictures suck buck what you don't incorporate into any of yours is any type of originality. Who are you to say anyone on this site sucks. If you really think that go find somewhere else to post. Another thing, many of the people who post here drift not only solo but tandom, can you? Before you open your mouth as a new memeber one of the rules is not to degrade other people on this site so I would kindly suggest that you be a bit more proffessional about your attitude and read all the rules.

Yes, but look at a real car drifting. It's a solid cloud of smoke behind the car, not two lines of smoke. When just using regular smoke, it looks more realistic.
One thing that I did notice in GT4 is that when you are under hard gas and wheel spin you will see a larger cloud of smoke not longer. This is an indication that the person drifting is spinning the snot out of the tires such as my pics of my Iroc on page two especially around the last turn of the course. Those long small puffs of smokes are either e-brake pulls or tire lock up. That does not count as a drift it's sliding out of control. There is no control in that. A true drift is done not by holding the brake but maintaning it by positive wheel spin through throttle control. Good drifters learn this method over time. I NEVER initiate any drift or maintain one using the e-brake. Please take the time to notice the difference. 4wd cars will of course have two tracks of smoke in most cases.

I've also noticed that it tend to act with long, small puffs of smoke when you let off of the gas while drifting, which, if I'm not mistaken, is what I was doing in the two lower picks. The way my Buick is set up, it prefers to take sweeping corners drifts with little or no throttle input. Otherwise, it seems that the rears just catch and the car will snap back. I'm not sure why, but I've found that it is easily remedied with less throttle.

Yes I understand that but can you really consider any drift a drift if you don't use the throttle? I am not asking this to be rude I am just saying isn't a drift supposed to be a drift if you spinning the wheels under throttle rather than just letting them slide around the corner.

Yeah, it is taking a long time, but you all have to remember, people have lives, and can't be on the computer 24/7.
