Drag Racer V3 Custom Decal URLs

Does anyone know how do use Custom Decal URL in DRV3? I think i'm on the right track \/

If I paste a url it cuts it off.
I goo.gl shortened a url (http://www.escapemotions.com/experiments/flame/pictures/flame_dragon.jpg) to http://goo.gl/ckvYO and pasted that and clicked apply. The first time shockwave crashed, the second, nothing happened. But when I exited the edit menu, this happened:

It appears you need pinpoint accuracy.

thanks. I'll try cropping a pic to fit the car properly. tell me if you have any ideas.
