It wasn't directed at you Chris, I just meant this blew up in general over something as simple as a misunderstood sentence. I know you can clean your tires; I understand real is roughly equivalent to low given circumstances, but there are reasons for using low as well. Reasons that I won't say because I don't want to start another argument. But no, low grip isn't a driving aid. Most people don't understand that low provides more consistent grip than real, and that is what I was trying to explain when this all started.
