Hey, I've been drag racing lately and i have a lot of trouble on takeoffs with my 70' challenger (premium). I always spin my tires a lot on the takeoffs which gives me another lost 1/4 mile pass so what adjustments do i need to do to the challenger to get better takeoffs.

P.S. The challenger is fully loaded and has approx. 728hp

Increase rear toe in and mess around with your ratios. But spinning is not always bad. I spin up to 80mph in my Viper ACR but I still beat people :)

Yeah, spinning isn't that bad, especially with SRF on. (I don't like SRF)

Ahh pexi, there are several threads about drag tuning, just search. Everything should be set to 0 regarding the toe and camber for the rear.

SRF is Skid Recovery Force
It's a driving aid which adds massive grip when the tires spin. It makes you a couple seconds faster.....

And that is why I only go to rooms where there are no aids :)

wat u hit out tunnel?

I mainly race at Indy. Only hit SSR7 a few times after realizing how boring it was. But with my Enzo I think I was hitting around 270ish MPH.

Also, where and when do you usually drag? Never see you...

Huh, both ssr7 and 1/4 mile is good. Second, the top speed isnt everything according to different sources, its the amount on time it takes to come there i guess....

My suggestion is try this drag tune...
Lsd=
0/5
0/60
0/10
Suspension=
-12/ -10______0.0/0.0
10.5/ 10.0_____0.0/0.0
5/5
4/4
3/3

i only drag on ssr7 and it mainly wed to sunday ill be on tomoro night my time i tune alot wit my crew, be prepared:sly:

from playing around on my acr's suspension, if you want less wheel spin then you want a higher rear end with softer suspension and compression to be near 1, vice versa if you need more spin from a car that tends to stick

Exactly what I do. A fast launch has mostly to do with suspension setup rather than ratio or LSD.

that LSD wouldn work for drag , u need as much TQ as u can get to launch the car
Ehe, i was talking about the suspension, ext = extension, comp = compression.

LSD, i dont know, its flawed in gt5 according to different sources...

When you drag and only 1 wheel smokes its a good idea to increase the Acceleration Sensitivity on your LSD.

by the way, Steleb have you tried my setting I posted earlier? Im am interested how it might have enjoyed it.

i havent had time to try the setting but i will defenetly give you some feedback when i can try it i'll probably only be able to try it tomorow

did u add me? im not beatin yet :sly:

Keep forgetting. will add you next time I turn on my PS3. I am usually at Indy :)

See you there...
