Drags: Indy, TGTT or SSR7 & why?

When I first started drag racing, SSR7 is the only track where I knew you could drag race. But it all seemed a bit chaotic and boring after a while. Then by accident I ran into Indy drag races. For some reason they appealed to me more. I think it is because, for me anyways it seems more realistic. 2 lines, 2 cars and 1/4 mile.

This is my story. Curious how other people pick their fav drag tracks :)
 
Yes, indeed, Indy is great for drag racing. I've recently been doing some of it in Daytona. Maybe because, it has not got so sharp turns as Indy.
And, if you are for serious drag racing I would recommend Circuit De La' Sarthe (without chicanes) or Nurgburgring's straight line. These tracks have very long straights so, they are good for finding which car has the best top speed.
 
Add a poll with the options of Indy, Top Gear Test Track, Special Stage Route 7 or Other!! That will help. :cool:

For me personally, my home is SSR7. I do tune for the other drag spots but I'm always happiest drag racing through the tunnel for over 30 seconds, over 3040m, up to 270mph in my Veyron, winding through every gear in my gearbox. :D
 
Indy Seems to appeal to me more also, SSR7 is a blast too, Seeing who faster at accelerating to their top speed first and who's top speed is higher is always fun, but Ive been doing that since GT5 came out and is slightly losing interest to me compared to Indy.

At Indy 1/4, I feel it's more fast paced and suspensful wating for that person to ghost and finally blast off the line! but both are fun and great when theres no BS involved, Unlike the Top Gear Test Track:yuck:, that place is a mess!
 
Indy for sure. Shortest, funnest, and My most wins. ;) (Shelby 427 fully upgraded) And I have yet to lose...
 
Top speed drag racing to me anyway seems lame, there are a few cars that would easily dominate every other car. TVR Speed 12, Viper, Cad Cien, Veyron, Ford GT. All of those cars would dominate making it boring after a while. 1/4 mile for me all the way!
