Dream Pack 1 Coming 3/11/2015! With Nordschleife

I tried my go-to combo from GT6: M3 E92 around the Nordschleife.

Felt utterly at ease, visual cues and general feel was extremely familar from GT6. But then with better graphics, better FFB, etc... I am going to have so much fun lapping cars around this track. My hotlapping needs for the next year are now officially covered!
 
The one thing I hate about their 'Ring (and there is only one thing) is that they make you start from the old pits by the official start/finish line. Sounds fine, but the lap timer is already ticking when you take control of the car, so you have to go all the way around for a proper flying lap. So when you 🤬 it up on ONE corner near the beginning of the track like I seem to do for some reason you can't just go back to the pits and try again without having to do another 7-minute out lap. It just makes going for a sub-7 minute lap time in the P1 that much more frustrating. I managed a 7:04 including the time in pits and an off but its impossible for my stupid self to get a clean lap in this car :(

That made my life so much easier. Thank you! I was able to pull off a 6:43.305 the old fashioned way. About to try hot lap out 👍

The Ring with the Alfa GTA is just something. Its an amazing feeling. The FFB is just... :drool: It feels like a cloud. but an amazing cloud. :dopey:
 
I'm honored to mention that the first action i did with the dream pack DLC, was to get lost at the nur-tourist parking lot :lol:
The signs "Nordschleife" pointing to the left should have been obvious...

Funny side note is that if you go over the edges of the carpark turning around, your lap time is invalidated :D
 
If there's anything I learned about Assetto Corsa today, especially in light of the PCARS delay, it's that Kunos delivers. Awesome content at a great price and on time. That makes me feel good, not sure about you guys 👍


The P1 could probably keep me entertained well into the next content pack. A dozen laps at Catalunya and my 5 best times were all within a couple tenths of each other. I can be fast in AC, but fast and consistent, not so much. This thing is a dream.

I posted some things that i don't like, things that should be fixed (and still do :) ) or things i think to have priority, this time i'm posting to say i'm amazed with the job they have done.

I took the C7 out. OMG so much fun. Seems so far fairly easy to handle. Need to fine tune the settings, and Ill knock some good lap times down on Nur GP layout.
 
Gran turismo for PC = Assetto corsa. :D That P1, F1 are my favorite, but the 155 and C9 reminds me of gran turismo so much! Still can't believe we have a sim like gran turismo level of detail. Minus the car count of course...and standards..oh and the vacuum sound. :lol:
 
try the Alfa GTA. What lovely old car. I really really really love AC!
 
Gave it a shot today and was simply blown away, the most accurate version I've ever driven on so far. Pity they didn't allow us to enter the Touristenfahrten entrance, but boy is the track overall beautifully made.

And the P1 and the M235i are so far my favorites. That P1 is just completely juvenile.
 
yeah what a difference compared to the MP4-12c

Having driven a couple of laps in the real Nordschleife, I can say that finally a game creates the elevation changes properly. Although GT's N is certainly good too.
