I did this a week ago. What a great way to see the 'ring.

As for idea:

A rally event would be nice.
An event not at Tsukuba.
A Kei car event.
The 'ring in the opposite direction.
 
How about some "real-length" races. Something in between the 3-laps at Eifel and the Endurance races. How about 20, 30, even 40 laps.

Another thing that comes to mind (although I'm sure that this has been discussed ad nauseam somewhere previously) is some sort of toggle-switch, where you can choose roughly how fast you want the AI to go (both in seasonals and in normal races), so that YOU don't have to spend two hours fine-tuning your own car in order to get a competitive or interesting race. Because not everyone is able to gold Vettel challenges with the DS3, I therefore think that a "difficulty slider" or something to that effect would be nice (Think a-spec points in GT4.)

Rally + Endurance,or 20-30 lap races!! and limited cars,or stock cars..."real" race types,not 2-3 lap..
 
Maybe in the future have championship events. Rally championship event, X2010 championship event, Gran Turismo world championship part 2 like in gt3 and a group c Championship event. This would add a nice touch to the seasonal events feature.
 
Battle of the Heavy Weights! 2000kg+, 550 pp limit.
Or with summer coming up. The Vacation Cup! Station Wagons and Minivans in separate events taking on the ring.

Of course the greatest challenge of all would take some major effort that I understand wouldn't be do-able for quite a while. But I would love to see a Winter race around a snow covered ring! :crazy:
 
I think an S2000 meet at Suzuka would be nice.

An easy idea for PD to implement would be to recreate some of the events from GT4 that were not carried over into GT5. Events like Spider & Roadster, 1000 Miles!, and Real Circuit Tours, etc ought to be easy to line up. There were manufacturer-specific events and one-make races as well.

There are plenty of events that PD should be able to put together without much trouble.
 
Proper restrictions.. Something like the first Fiat 500 race of the first seasonal..
 
Prius grand tour, The Ring, Le Mans, then some other long tracks.
Seeing that the Prius is rather underused as a car, except for lulzing around online :P

But I think they'll have to solve problems over in Japan first before they can tend to us..
 
I want them to make some Endurance races in the seasonal events, but no more than 2 hour long.

78 rounds around Cote d'Azur in Ferrari F1 cars is top of the list.

Would also like a Furai Challenge where we drive against other Mazda Furai's. Just love that car.

Instead of individual seasonal event races give us seasonal ...seasons. Also no rabbit cars and give ai better tires so they don't slow to stop in corners.

- '90s jgtc shootout. 30 minute races on suzuka, fuji, indy road, Tokyo R246, cape ring
- the same with gt300 cars only
- nordschleife timetrial competition. Do the nissan gtr lap challenge for 15 more cars. Beating the time gives you money. Every second you go faster gives you 3000cr or so. Tire and tuning restrictions.
- top gear tt comp with the same idea
- more rally events with multiple stages. Also all cars start at the same time instead of queued starting.
- also rwd gravel rallying events
- historic 80s prototype series. 30 minute races on suzuka, nordschleife, lemans, daytona road, monza
- Master of rain series. 450pp cars on track with always raining
- Master of darkness. 450pp cars on track with no light and driving line disabled.
- standard untuned race series with pp and tire limits. The more you go under the pp limit the more money it pays
- no pp limit car race with comfort hard tires

I would want a Fireblade Seasonal. Thats my favorite car in the game period.
 
Super GT cars at Tokyo, Suzuka, Fuji and any two other tracks...Nurburgring? Indy? Monza? Who cares if they've already been done. I'd race a Super GT seasonal non stop for a week.

What about a series to actually utilize all those cool LMP and Group C cars that are overkill for every race in A-spec? Similar to the old-school GT All-Stars, GT World, Real Circuit Tours etc. events.

Of course, there's lots of cool street car event ideas too. muscle cars, luxury sedans, station wagons, convertibles (a la spider/roadster race)...
 
I hope

Chapter 70 cars, decent races, no 5 laps races ... 20-30 laps races.
And a few endurance, hp restriction, tire restriction , etc. .. and a lot of races for 100-500hp. Everybody seems to be those 700 + hp just mind games ...

In particular, more endurance-races ..
Manufacturer races is good too :)

I don't know if it would be possible to do, but how about a super GT season around all the japanese tracks, with at least 30 laps on each. You can choose to enter gt300 or gt500 or even old jgtc cars. And just like in the real competition, the race winner after each race has to carry extra ballast in the next race to try and even it up. If you win the whole series, a handsome sum of 1,000,000 or 2,000,000 should be awarded. Anyone dig that idea?
 
F Meeting - Lexus LFA or Lexus IS F at Fuji Speedway F, Nurburgring Nordschleife, Nurburgring 24 Hr, The Top Gear Test Track, and Eifel. (We need more TG races :P )

Group B Tribute - banned WRC cars at Toscana rally, Eiger K, Cape Ring Inside, Eiger Norwand Short Track, and Alaska. (At least Alaska makes a Seasonal Event debut)

Red Bull Racing Festival - Vehicles with Red Bull livery (X2010s, C4 WRC, Brian Vickers #83 CAMRY, just to name a few) at Eiger Norwand Short Track, SSR7, Circuit De La Sarthe 2009, Daytona Oval, and Mt. Aso. (SSR7 Seasonal Event debut)

A GT300 series, but more importantly, a rally seasonal!
 
I would like to see huge cash rewards for being in the top 250 in Seasonal Time Trial and Drift.
1st Place get 1,000,000 Credits
10th Place 500,000 Credits
all the way down to
250th Place gets 100,000 Credits

This would make TT & drift alot more fun and competitive :D
 
I'd like a Seasonal, where you have to use the car that is provided to you (slighlty un-tuned), that you can =>(must) tune, to catch 1st place. no more rolling starts, ever, please.

Random car every 6 hours in the event. Random AI cars , respecting PP points.

No more radom Toscana tracks, those are awful. I love the one that is in the Muscular seasonal, it is a good wide track, but those randomly generated ones, Tarmac, are plain awful, and ruin the GT5 fun factor for me.
