I have a dream of being healthier and highly literate. I think that I might like to be an orator.

Highly literate? That's cool...yea that'd be awesome...then I'd know all sorts of words that could be used against people and the wouldn't have a clue of what I would be saying! LOL!:lol: I could confuse them...hee hee hee...

Another dream of mine I've had since I was just a little girl:
I've always wanted big fairy wings that I could fly with. You see, my dad's in the Air force. I have wanted for a long time to fly
F-16's like him. But when I was five, I had an operation done on my ear that now prevents me from ever getting hired to fly for the Air force...It's the one thing I'll never be able to do.
So ever since then, when we're driving and I'm bored, I stare out of my window and dream of being able to fly...........

Seriously, I've wanted to be a wizard/ sorcorer /person who can do really cool things with magic. And I've always wanted to be able to literally dissapear into my own little dimension with people i choose to be in that world.
 
My whole life I've grown up around an Air Force Base. It's one of the largest in America.

I've always loved planes. They just fascinate me!

So when I was 7, I decided that I wanted to be a fighter pilot. Our family had a friend who was an A-10 Thunderbolt Pilot and served 3 months out of the year in Kuwait, patroling the "No Fly Zones." Even though I was small, he just amazed me. I thought he was the coolest thing! But it wasn't just him that inspired me, it was my upbringing. I can promise you I've seen Gettysburg and Glory more than any other teenager alive. My grandfather made me watch those sort of movies with him when I was smaller! At that age, I was bored (at first) but it quickly grew on me. I strive on History class and ROTC. It's so part of me that it's like breathing.

So my dream is to be in the military. Mostly a pilot. I wanna fly! :D
 
For a few years I had an interest in the F14, it remains my favorite plane to this day, though my interest mostly dropped some years ago.
 
I love the F/A18D Hornet. It's definately my favourite among all the other fighters, this one is just special. I guess it would be kinda nice if you could sit and pilot an aircraft, enjoying the wonderful view ............

Yeah, that would be nice, and not have to worry about being shipped off to war...
 
Well, I know that being shipped off to war is dangerous and all, but think about it: You can still fly planes and NOT go to war. I mean, sure, if you fly a cargo plane you'd be sent to ship stuff over there, but you don't usually get shot down in a cargo plane, and you'd be helping people at the same time.
 
But a cargo plane just doesn't give you that sense of speed.. fighter aircraft are capable of flying at much higher speeds, but I don't think cargo aircrafts do.

300-600mph is pretty fast if you ask me, but you're right - it's not **** when compared to a fighter jet.

My dad flew C-141's for like 20 some odd years for the AF. Now he flies C-17's for the AF Reserves, and flies planes for AA. Even thow they're slower than fighters he still loves every second of it.

He loved flying T-37's and T-38's in pilot training.
 
The Bell U1-UH Huey is the ultimate image of a helicopter, and I wish to be able to fly one.

NZ has a ****ty Air Force now.

I might join the Air Force, not sure as what, maybe a engineer or as a to be pilot.
