What happened to my boys BreakerOhio, dking, etc.? This place looks way different than GT4 Drift Forum. I guess it has been like 4 or 5 years though, LOL! Anybody know how I can get in contact with them? Was playing GT5 over the weekend a little and had a flash back of joking around and playing with them on uber lagtastic xLink...

I remember you guys! o_O

Speaking of those days.. I miss TRi's videos. /offtopic

TRi was a freakin' beast, no doubt. I don't see a lot of people anymore. Swift, Tankslapper/Boundary Layer dude, Suzuki. Oh how time flys. So yeah, anybody have their info please let me know, I would greatly appreciate it! :D

Imagine how I feel, I skipped GT4! This is a pretty drastic change from the GT3 drift forums too :)

I remember seeing one of your videos back in the day with a Blackalicious soundtrack. You're a very good drifter, and I don't say that about many people. Can't wait to see you lighting them up in GT5!

Seen a couple of posts here and there, but it ain't nothing like it used to be, drifting has taken off bigtime worldwide and now all sorts come here as like it was back then it's still the best GT site on the web. I'd say some will be back but lots can happen in the real world in 5 years.

I have some of the old vids still, that one with Blackalicious "The Craft" as well. Looking back they're really not that impressive. Some ugly looking stuff really. I was the D-Padder with really really twitchy steering...

I would imagine BreakerOhio is no longer break dancing as he's probably in his early 30's now, perhaps still an S2K guy I hope. dking I never really knew how old he was, funny guy though. I'm pregnant as hell and also have a little 3 y/o daughter running around now too. Things change fast, just thought I'd see if anyone was still around.

Wait, you're not Jen are you?

Close, but no cigar...

Welcome Back DTC

Long time no see, how are you? This is not a come back tour. Just thought about my youth again and being super wasted trying to xLink with people. The lag helped, lol. Had a pretty decent sized list of people though, probably about 20 or 25 by the time I stopped playing and starting career building. You, Breaker, dking (RL), Suzuki.

/flashback.

Ahh old times. I remember that I always was on with rl friends and now I got 15 of the 30 left lol. Everyone stopped or is online once in two months. That sucks. But I still enjoy playing with people I dont know lol.

Good luck with finding your mates. they probably changed their username or stopped as well lol.

I prefer DTC's location :)

Oh I thought that whole video was you. There were a lot of drifts in there that looked very realistic right down to the weight transfer when linking corners and such, which was hard to achieve in GT3/4. You more often saw people dropping their car to the floor with super stiff springs & roll bars, simulation tires, and terrible differential settings. You'd see them enter the corner about 10 mph too slow and you're thinking "oh man they are about to eat it" but the car just slides like the tires are made of ice. That always drove me crazy, so anytime I saw someone using proper technique it stood out and that's what made that video stand out to me, even if the drifts weren't outrageous.

I think the online play helps encourage better techniques. You can't really tune your car like that because you'll have other players barreling down on you and slamming into you, or passing you like crazy. You're not longer drifting in an isolated sandbox, there are other players and if you tune your car to handle like it's on ice then other drivers will make a fool out of you.

Purgatory was a 3 level club in Dallas we used to mob back in the day. That video was just me...

EDIT: I've reuploaded all the videos from GT4 I have left on YouTube. Search for user... xlNightMinxlx

You did that with a D-Pad? That's pretty impressive! I could tell some were but it seemed like not all were. Gonna have to go back and watch it again when I get home.

If I'm ever in Dallas, I'll definitely have to pay my club a visit! Gotta pay homage to the Purgatory.

LOL transporter. WTF is wrong with you guys. Huy dubbed his 135i "the wetness" if you didn't hear. I'm like STFU man, 335i and up drops more panties than your toy car. Call him and give him crap today please! :)

Did you get my text? How come you didn't answer me huh?!?!? Don't be a punk or I'll post pictures of you in compromising positions, LOL! Dude you always call at the absolute worst times. It's not that I'm ignoring you guys, I'm just busy. Ya know home skillet? You better PayPal me that $100 cause I wanted to talk to your girl anyways. Last time we talked she was saying something about why it's taking you so long. :p If you like it, then you shoulda put a F'in ring on it! She wants to pop out those mini-me's. But yes I got the S2K, GPW too :D

PS: Your S2K tune sucks. See you, Chaucers pre-Niki's wedding? Call you @ 7 on the dot, love you NERD!

You = Weird. I was getting ready for my "J-O-B." We can't all just take off because we're as big as a 747. :p See you in August, you'll be able to drink and dank. Just need John to let go of the stranglehold of his S13 and we can get some drift action in. SWEET!

PS: My S2K tune rocks, F you. I texted Huy, he didn't answer to my slanderous comments about the wetness. Seriously, call us... bye!
