Drift GT4

i am not sure if this should be in drift forum or romour forum?

anyway

is any other drifters concerned that GT4 physics have been changed to make it easier for new comers so they dont spin out.

there is a chance that drifting wont be possible (or crap like GT2)

i sure hope not, seeing as there will be alot of new cars to drift in GT4
 
From what I've seen, the GT4 physics engine is basically the GT3 engine tweaked to get rid of some of the unrelistic car behaviors and to be even more accurate for each individual car. It should be drifter friendly, and I personally can't wait to get a Hemi Challenger sideways. :lol:

ahh the possiblities of drifting in GT4. i'm gonna leave aside 80 dollars to buy the game and an extra memory card (just for gt4). mmmmmmm i can't wait till that game comes out. i wanna drift the 350z.
 
isnt the game coming out sometime next year? thats too long, but im sure it'll be worth the wait. a new 900 degree turning wheel, better graphics and everything else. it should be a great racing game.

Hey bro - you could've been drifting the 350z since GT3 came out...you do know you can win that car right? OK its called "Z Concept" but c'mon. Check out the prize car list.:cool:
 
As PD already said....They pretty much took the PS2 as far as it could go.....So I think GT4 will be the same as GT3 just...better scener more cars and different functions....same other crap

yea i have the car, but i want in white or black or blue ... i just love the Z mmmmmm
 
i heard that it might be anti-aliased ... for you comp art guys you know, but for the rest, it'll look hella nicer... this also could be just a rumor
 
i saw screenshots of the game. it looks really good. especially the rally courses. crazy graphics for the grand canyon rally course. and the new course in japan. everything looks good.

yea i noticed alot of rally screen shots ... hopefully its not too much rally. just want my Z.
 
i think all the gt3 players will be into it. racers and drifters alike. i dont think they would make too many changes to the already great engine they have goin.
 
true true. i'm still gonna buy it and upload mad drift settings... ahh the crazy amounts of time i'll devote to this forum and GT4 HAHAH i'm gonna have no life and fail out school
 
I would be suprised if driver settings could not be changed. (turing asm/tcm off). I cannot wait to get the wheel and pop it into simulation control. God that will be sweet. Domestadrift!!!:lol:
 
i dont know but im sure that there is errors like when you stop,you can turn the wheel to its max and then when accelrate the wheel will like come back a little and that doesnt happen in real life
 
i wonder if in GT4 the will let FR doughnuts AWD doughnuts is too easy. i can do little doughnuts in GT3, but it's nothing. i want it like real life, apply the correct gas and counter-steer:D

Yeah, my friend works for polyphony and sent me this list, he told me that they are trying to cater to all the types of car enthousiasts, with the introduction of lots of sport compacts (like there weren't before :rolleyes: ), ghetto cruisers, and the domestic ricers :P Yeah, we had the coversation about the Cavi's too. He said that Ferrari and Porsche would not give them permission to use their cars in the game, so they got around Porsche by using RUF, as in GT2 and 3, not sure about 1, and because (my guess) ferrari does not have some kinda aftermarket company, they could find no way around getting one into there.

is what the guy said on that Forum...He's a moron....He's a liar..IF he supposedly know someone who worked for PD he'd know that the reason Porsche and ferrari wern't in GT's were because EA had the sole liscensing to them..Not because "they didn't want to"...Second..That same list is on gamespot and it is a PRESUMED list...
 
i don't care about the cars, im just drooling over the Tsukuba Circuit. Then , I could make my own little D1 GP Round 1 remakes with comparison between the real competition and the gt4 cars. Make it a exact replica of my option videos for D1....mmm
