I'd rather have drift events than say, drag racing events...talk about a "moronic sub-species of racing." Doesn't take much to launch a car and not turn the steering wheel ever.
Please don't ever say drifting is easier than drag racing. It sounds silly. My mom can launch a car and keep it straight, but there's no way she can hold a drift.
Drag racing is for finding out 0-60 and 1/4 mile times. Drifting is for finding the limits of the car's handling.
Most of us in the GTP drift community will have to disagree with you. we take different lines which are totally different for racing. plus we like the extra lock that comes with drift trail mode.If it stops counting in the middle of a corner, then your line is not perfect at all.
you just sound naive. you may want to research drifting and its roots before you make a judgmental statement as suchIn general, I find drifting to be a moronic sub-species of racing, so employing it in a game like GT makes no sense to me. Why not have half-pipe, downhill car skiing or wheel-hopping competitions? Besides, drifting is based on what boils down to subjective scoring. IMHO, it has no honest place in what is supposed to be a serious racing simulator, just because it is a completely different game.
The scoring works on 3 main criteria:How do actually the Drift Mode on GT6 work? what factors play a role, and why does it stop counting at times when holding a perfect line and so on? it makes no sense, does anyone know how it works?
wait sooo... you dont have a mum...???Your Mom? How old are you?

I belive the drift mode is baised on cliping points, speed and angle. And a question why are you judging your drifts on points. I have in the past on taskuba its fun till you get overtaken by someone that doesnt use angle and still wins,if your on a good drift team they dont really judge by points, insted they use cliping points. ITs not really the best for me to go through what clipping points are,but im not a good teacher at all either. How do actually the Drift Mode on GT6 work? what factors play a role, and why does it stop counting at times when holding a perfect line and so on? it makes no sense, does anyone know how it works?
Teams care about tandems, tandems is where it's at. #doorgangbangI belive the drift mode is baised on cliping points, speed and angle. And a question why are you judging your drifts on points.
