Theme Rules - (If Given):: Supersonic Drifting - Make the drift look likes its going supersonic. Try an be creative too not just a huge dose of motion blur :)

This is a drift photo competition. Your car must be drifting!​

Photoshop adjustments, tools, and filters list:
Crop
Resize
Levels
Brightness/Contrast
Hue/Saturation
Blur filters
Noise filters
Sharpen filters
Tools:
Type tool
Sharpen tool
Burn tool
Dodge Tool
Blur tool
Smudge tool
Clone Stamp Tool (for removing watermark)

The DPSC Entry will be posted up every Monday and the poll from the previous week on that same week Wednesday. The poll will last 7 days and will be closed on a Wednesday as well. Once a DPSC King/Queen has been chosen you have 14 days to PM Specialized with your requirements. In the event that you do not PM them to me, a notice will be posted on the new DPSC entry and the first choice get's used. Once the entry is closed, you have 2 Days to pm Specialized your Top 10. Thereafter I will post up the pole.

At the end of the photo entry, 10/11 cars will go into the poll. The person who wins the poll will then get to choose the car and track restrictions for next week, and choose the top 10 photos for the next poll.




Here are some fine example of how entries should be posted. No more than Two "honorable mentions" or One 400px x 300px size "Preview" image please (EXAMPLES BELOW). The rest can be shown off in the Drift Photos Thread

Oh no, I really hope there wont be 10 pics with radial blur in the upcoming poll:scared: I think radial blur is lame and very easy to do...

6 Entries!! Hmm thats not good! unfortunately if the comp doesnt start to improve i will have to think about shutting it down, like i said before its only on a trial basis. If anybody has an idea on how to get more people involved though PM me.

Yea the deadline is tomorrow but i think im going to extend it a week.
 
could make the competition every two weeks and work up from that. Vonie's idea of advertising it in the PMC is good too. I'll advertise it around.
 
I personally think there will be alot more votes and entries if this was put in the regular photos forum with all the other comps. I know this is specifically for drifting and has a right to be in this forum but the lack of votes is really killing my ambition to want to get any shots in. Just my 2 cents.

Yeah, it probably would. I really don't like the thought of taking it outside the drift forum though. :indiff:

But if it makes for more entries, it makes sense.💡

integra1976, you need to upload your pictures on to ImageShack. On
the first post of this thread there are the instructions on how to do that.

You can barely see my entry drifting, but yeah I was speed drifting and well...;)
 
Nice, but it would have been nice if you had cut the reflection of the car with the car, because they are moving at the same speed, so the reflection shouldn't be blurred. But it's just a detail, great shot 👍
 
I have tried it like you said but it didn't seem right. You wouldn't really notice the blurred reflection as much as you would notice the blur gap FOR the reflection, if you know what I mean.
 
The car needs to be in minor oversteer at least, thats why it's a drift competition. You cant achieve that if you use phototravel.
