Ok listen up... will say this once, camber is for tire wear, an tire wear only... I know this for I did the wheel balancing an front end alignments on the Indy cars at the Indianapolis 500 in 1984-86... before many of uzzz were borne

if the camber angles increase tire wear, then doesn't it mean that it helps increase traction to control the drift then?

Camber should be as near to Zero as possible for a road course, an for an oval the left tire should be at positive 2 degrees

More negative camber (up to a point) will give you more grip at the expense of tire wear.

Example, stand a pencil on end point down, straight up an down, bend/lean over... the top of the pencil towards you, that is negative camber... For the sake of argument the pencil is the left front tire of a car

In my opinion only the traction to the rear wheels controls drift, provided the car is rear wheel drive

I got em from the owner o the red S13 I posted above. He has option magazines and those are just scans of the cars.
