The only problem I see here (forum) is too many people mix GT drifting with real drifting. At least I think they do. Anytime I hear someone talk about drifting here, I think both real and GT. I would assume this being a GT forum, it would be only GT, but knowing how real cars drift helps understand drifting in the game more. Ever since I started drifting in real life, drifting on the game is more fun when I try to drift like I would in real life...

Yep, I agree. Knowing real world techniques certainly helps in-game techniques.

GT3 needa clutch! it would help alot for sure

While that would ceratinly be cool, it would almost certainly would have to be a binary switch. either clutch in or clutch out. Anyone remember Race Driving? It had a clutch, and you HAD to use it. But it was not realistic at all. I guess what I'm saying is that a clutch is cool, in a video game on this level it's not very viable.

Very good point...

Logitec would have to produce a new wheel and pedal assembly including a clutch... Also, in my opinion, for it to work well the shifter would have to be more durrable so you could throw it around more aggresively... You have to be somewhat aggressive with the wheel (especially in 900 degree mode), as well as with the pedals (getting to my point, I promise)... So with all that going on the shifter needs to be more realistic (just in feel and weight)... This would go along way to creating an intuitive racing wheel setup and i would buy one in a second...
