Drifting forum turning into stupidville.

I don't know about you all, but I hate coming to the forums and not having anything new to read... I personally think newbies promote the growth of the forum and are usually the driving force of any and all conversations that happen to come about on the forum. So I say let them ask and ask and ask some more.

Well, for starters, we need to coach and guide new members. We need to foster a forum that quality people want to stay with.

Some of you guys that know how to edit and make a movie, help the new drifters.

I've got more to say on this matter, but that'll have to wait until I can put a set of thoughts together. Suffice to say, I'll be a bit more available here on a more regular occasion. Who knows, maybe I'll even try drifting. :)

Yeah, I also have noticed this but there's not much anyone can do about it besides tell the new user to read the stickies or search for the topic.

I'll spend a bit more time, closing those threads with a reminder to read the stickies. Shortly thereafter, it'll get recycled. That way if it bears merit, and people (not the person that started it) PM me with a reason to reopen it, it'll be a community decision to recycle or save the thread.

Hopefully that's a start.

Sounds like a plan.....

I am currently working on a vid to help new drifters, so I have that covered..... It will cover every drivetrain...... I am going to keep it really simple, and concentrate on the basics......


Furthermore, thankyou for taking an interest in our forum, it is greatly appreciated. I will continue to do anything I can to help create a comfortable, and educational environment for drifters.....

Silviadrifter, that would be great. I'm really having trouble with it and I don't understand why. My brother and I started at the same time, but he can drift and I have the hardest time. When do you think the vid will be out?

nightkids, my bad. I just took a quick look at the name and got it confused.

Tabs, I know about those links and have checked out most of them. I'm just hoping a different perspective would help out, that's all. I'm not about to wine and cry that I can't drift with all this good info on the site.
 
I am planning on making videos for the beginners also, but my internet connection and the way my dad and I area switching is making it hard for me to upload videos.

In the summer, I can take some time to get some videos up and running, I hope :)
