Drifting in GTA

The Sabre Turbo can also do it fairly well. The Perinial (aka the **** car) may be worth a try with as well. ;)

Yeah i was going to make a thread on this awhile ago but i never did but i did make a list of the cars which drift easily:

1. Sabre
2. Sabre Turbo
3. Hotring Racer
4. Banshee
5. Pheonix
4. Sentenial XS

This is conserning only Vice City I don't know about GTA: III.

The Sabre Turbo seems the easiest to drift with, pretty much any ear wheel drive car in the game can be drifted with with a little practice. The Infernus and Comet are both 4WD cars which makes them harder to drift with since the engine is also turning the front wheels making the car want to go back straight a lot faster than with just a Rear Wheel Drive car. But you just have to keep practising and you can do it with virtually any car.

My favorite spot to dift in Vice City, is on Prawn Island, from the fountain just turn around and go all the way down the street past the doors to your film studio, all the way to the wall at the end then turn around and FLOOR IT! Just keep it floored and then dirft all the way around the road which goes around the fountain.

Drift? I guess I like using the Sanchez or the PCJ600 to drift around, then do a few doughies on top of people.

The Infernus does great at the street that "U's" north of te pay n' spray in Vice Point. Also that U turn by North Point Mall (on the top right) can be drifted quite nicely so long as you don't slam into any cars. :irked: The road by the Mansions in Prawn Island works good too. Pretty much any u turn will do for me  :D

The Infernus and Comet are both 4WD cars

The Infernus is 4WD??? Not in my game it ain't. :odd:

The Firetruck is easily the best drifter. Well, in GTA:III it was.

👍 THat's what I do. I drift with the Firetruck in Vice City :D I also use the Stallion.

That's interesting here's how to tell:

hold down the handbrake which locks the rear wheels, now hit the gas and if the car slowly inches forward it's a Front wheel drive car. If you hold down the normal brake (locking the front wheels) and the gas at the same time and the rear start to do a "burnout" then the car is rear wheel drive, if it does both then it's 4WD. In my game the Infernus does both.

I see. 👍
I think the Cuban Hermes might be 4WD too, it reacts pretty weird when you're going in reverse and turning hard at the same time.
