I've never tried drifting in GT before, and I see some seasonal events that I need to drift. I have no idea how to setup a car for this. I've looked through the site and can't find a general (any car) tune.

Is there any guidlines I can follow to get a car to drift, and then work on it from there.

What should the suspension settings and LSD be set to? Aswell is downforce needed?

Front end settings? Any thing to help me get going please.

Thanks.

If you can find a Sprinter Trueno Gt-Apex (SS version) in the UCD, you can learn to drift that from stock. Just place some Comfort hards on it. It's really true that the car will teach you. It's very forgiving and helped me when I started. I still suck but am scoring more than 10,000 consistently with it.

Else, a Silvia S13 from the premium car dealer is good. Drift tunes available. Just search the tuning thread at the top of this forum section.

Could I borrow the sprinter? Lol. I'll start looking for it in the UCD. Are there any other cars that help me learn?
Also I use a controller.

I've been trying the Toyota FT 86. It's kicking my ass. I can get it to break loose and then when I try and control the slide, I lose it. I hit a wall or wipe it completely out.

So I snagged a Silvia from the UCD. Seems to be working for me now, as far as the learning goes.

Why do I ALWAYS nose it into the inside of the turns im trying to drift? I can get it to slide back and forth on a straightaway, and not ever lose control. The second I break it loose on a corner, it goes to far sideways. To the point I drive into the wall or it stops.

Hey bud, Join me online in a bit and I will drift with you. I am still learning myself. Maybe we can learn a few things to help each other out. Pm me if you feel like going online.
