Just wondering, does anyone know what kind of tires are best for drifting in real life? I know bald ones are the best, but are low profile tires better? Is there a type of rubber better than others?

always use low profile tyres, they are alot better
i once got some cheap standard tyres for drifting and the tyre rolled off the rim
even if they dont roll off the rim, that still roll and feel **** in dry conditions

in the wet it doesnt matter so much

Bald or cheep ones probably arn’t better, just maybe a little easier to drift with in the dry or with a low powered car. It's definitely a good choice to start off with since you will need a lot of practice, and there is no point on wasting good tiers learning to drift. But yeah make sure the tiers are good enough so they don’t just fall apart on you. Other than that I really don't know since I have no car.

Don't expect tires to last through a "full" weekend session at a track.

If your tires are rolling over and coming off the rim, you either have too low tire pressure or your not giving enough gas.

The tyres had an aspect ratio of 75
they are way to high and under high speed drift when i was recovering they would just roll severly

becomes scary at high speed

they where freebies so i thought i would try them out
i wont be doing that again

Some very cheap and semi decent tires to drift in are Mohave's...100% No name and cheap as hell....Suprizingly good performance for the price..I'm not sure on the specs of those but I can find out tommarow sometime...But I've yet to see anyone with them roll them off the rim
