Well put there SD. AYC isnt really needed, just the right settings and hard breaking. The thing about evo's, mine that is, all i have to do is brake hard and floor it. BRUJA.
You dont really need to do much to an evo to get it sideways. They drift ok stock.
Just do exactly what they tell you to do when drifting a evo in initial D. You have to enter the turn at a high angle and break a bit later than you normally would racing. Turn in realy hard as you break really hard, then tap the gass aggressivly along w/ wheel control to keep the car sideways and you shouldnt need to countersteer. It feels almost like your trying to crash into the inside when compared to drifting most rwd cars. Its a cool feeling though drifting w/ countersteering completely out of the equation. But thats if the car is stock.
The evos do have a bit of body roll so u might wanna make some suspension changes. You dont really need the handbreak if your aggressive enough.
I love my Lancer GRS T.M.E stripe and I have used the YAC. It handles awesome on Sims, like a rally car. My YAC is set to 100. I have no idea what it does or if it helps but i keep it on because it works.
evos are pretty good. when you countersteer, you crash tho
i can drift with all of the evo series in gt3. i can't wait till the gt4 comes out because they have the first evolution and 2 and 3 AND 8 wheepee~
