I now have my force strength set to 10. Should I lower that when I want to drift? Will it make it easier to countersteer with lower force feedback strenght? Any tips on what I should set it to?

Also, regarding drift technique: When driving an FR car, should I pump the gas pedal repeatedly during the turn while countersteering? Or is it a matter of making small and subtle adjustments with the gas pedal?

Any tips would be most welcome. Thanks!

I made a tutorial and it is finally posted...check it out! http://www.expertvillage.com/search.htm?s=gran+turismo

wen u pump the gas on a fr vehicle it does change the cars movements a bit. and to yer steering question, yes, lowering the forcefeedback setting on yer car will make the car more agile, but at the same time i find its a little bit easier to make the car slide out and loose your drift.

Drifting with a DFP is totally different from with a controller lol. I'm just starting to pick up on drifting with a controller now that I got a DFP I hv to larn it all over again, still getting use to the steering. But yeah i found it's easier if you turn your ForceFeedback down it be easier and more realistic IMO. Because FF @ 10 is kinda like car without power steering fluid in it lol. I personally st my FF to 3 and i don't pump my gas pedal i feather it.

I keep trying to drift with my g25 but I find it sooo hard to keep the car in control...
I'm able to get the car in a drift..but when I come out of the corner and i have to go straight again.. I just ALWAYS lose control.. what am I doing wrong?

I have a Logitech Driving Force Pro, before listening to my advice i recommend you go see my videos on youtube http://www.youtube.com/user/MarTin3Z420

After many practice I actually came up with a theorie that it was easier to use no steering assist and simply put the force feedback to 1,2,3 or 4 depending on what car and preferences for me because I could feel the road better and the steering was just better for drifting after i got use to it, the easiest setting is steering assist off and FF 1
