Well, what can I say? My beloved Arsenal has just been beaten one nil to The Scum (Manchester United to anyone not in the know). But then again you knew that, didn't you? How pissed off am I? What's with all these rhetorical questions? Damn, stop. Anyway it's 1 litre Asahis all the way from now on for me. I don't condone drinking to excess, but sometimes it is warranted, and this is one of those times.

My other half is enjoying herself in Thailand for five days, so I'm all alone at home left to quite literally drown my sorrows. Anyway, with nowhere else to grumble and the refreshing notion that not a lot of people here are into football, I thought I'd vent off in here.

With the drink flowing and no pub to go to I thought I'd start this thread. Saturday night is a good night as far as alchohol consumption goes for most of us, so anyone that wants to come in here and have a free, drink-fuelled 'chat' then come on in...

Not enough! Going out to 7-Eleven for a refill. You'll be pleased to here that a litre of Asahi (possibly the finest tasting, if not finest packaged beer on the planet) is approximately the same price as a small bottle of Coke inthe UK :D

One can't complain about that!
 
It was good game, we may have won but Arsenal still played well as much as I don't like to admit it. I've only drunk a couple of beers but I'm going out later so I want to have a few more then. Edit, I want to have a load more then. And Chaser fan, it's nice to see your glad of competition, because as good as it is seeing Man U win, it's better if it's close, but we aint winnig this year.
 
Yup, I'm getting **** faced as well. It will drown my sorrows and get rid of my hangover aswell. WHY DID WENGER NOT PLAY HENRY? What a crock, he needs to be slappinated. Oh well the League is in the bag and we got a good shot at the Champions League so not all is lost. But DAMN I'm p!ssed off at that result. You know if we had won the cup we could have kept it for winning it 3 times in a row. I guess we will have to start again next year.
 
Henry looked tired when he came on, he was using the opportunity to rest him while Nistelrooy was injured and Saha could'nt play. You have to remeber that Henry has played every game in the league so far so he's bound to be feeling it by now.

1. Either Asahi beer is a real bargain, or a small bottle of Coke is hellish expensive where you live. *lol*
2. You never got to know German beer, eh? ;)
3. You are typing pretty well for someone who already drank some beer.

1. A litre of Asahi costs about 97p which is about how much a bottle of Coke costs on a train station in the UK, I expect. Whatever, it's a bargain!
2. I got to know German beer, and then I got to know Asahi.
3. What can I say? My grammar and typing skills get much better when I've had a couple of drinks!

If you go through my old posts, pretty well anything done on a Saturday was done whilst under the influence.

I just got home from a pool league banquet,with free beer.

Needless to say I'm feeling pretty dame good.

It was a good game as well. Don't usually watch football, but caught a glimpse of it on the TV n sat down to watch it. I think Man U were the better side in the end though and deserved to win.
 
2-1 to Chelsea at home, looks like Chaser_fan will be hitting the beer again tonight
 
The drinking thread is back, *****es! I just killed like 10 shots of vodka with my friends and we're all playing hot shot-=s golf, and somehow i jsut got a hole in one, WOOO!
