By noise floor are you talking about Trueforce vibrations? Like the vibrations are grainy and more noticeable but should be more subtle? For me, I feel like the wheel might be less accurate and less responsive. It might be in my head but I feel a difference and it's hard for me to pinpoint exactly what it is.

I think when I use drivehub it feels like the wheel is in compatibility mode g923 and not in pro mode if that make sense.

I'm afraid to update the wheel firmware because I don't think we can revert back if it's causing issues with drivehub.

It’s mainly the graininess. So the signal feels like it’s less “clean”.

i played today and everything worked okay, I think my PS5 is updated also 🤔

What base are you using? I am using a non-native G27 and need to insert a Hori controller, but now PS5 is telling me that this controller cannot play games.

Might be directly related to the Hori controller, I’m not sure. I’m using a G Pro (PS base) so I have no issues in my end. Did the weekly WTC700 event this week without issue. Granted I didn’t use my shifter which is normally what caused disconnects in the past.

I have Fanatec Podium DD1 (PC only), Fanatec V1.5 handbrake (connected to base), Fanatec SQ shifter (connected to base as well), and Simgrade VX-pro pedals (these are connected to powered USB-hub, which is connected to Drivehub, for some reason pedals needed powered usb-hub). Everything works wonderfully. And Hori is also connected to Drivehub.

Also saw yesterday info on PS screen, that PS has updated himself some time ago, so it should be up to date as well.

Before Podium DD1 base, I had CSL DD 8nm, which had to be in PC mode as well to work.
 
Hello!

I'm planning to get the new T818 (Black Edition) to use on PS5. I already have the DriveHub and the Hori controller.

I talked with TM and DH and they said the Black Edition should still be compatible as the VID/PID is the same.

My question is, any issue/trick/anything that I should know before using the T818+DH? I saw some comments on some pages about some tricks to improve the FFB for the G Pro, idk if the T818 has requires something similar.
 
Anyone tried Drivehub with the latest Logitech G Pro firmware? I would like to update the firmware but I don't want to lose Drivehub support.
 
I had a csw 2.5 and just upgraded to a ps5 compatible clubsport dd+. I'm still using a thrustmaster shifter so I want to use the drivehub for that. The issue I'm having is when I put the dd+ in ps4 mode like it suggests and use the controller port since it's a native device, I'm getting hitching in the game. Everything is working properly otherwise, including fullforce.
If I set it up in PC mode like I would with my old base, I lose the fullforce effects. I've updated the firmware on everything and tried every mode on this base. Am I just SOL?

In PC mode don’t think GT7 will see the base identify as an Extreme so won’t send Full Force - you can see what base GT7 thinks is connected under options/controllers on the screen that shows pedal and wheel input movements

Just received the T818 Black Edition today. DriveHub was working fine, the wheel was recognized as a T300 in GT7.

Couldn't test much tho.

Did a bit of testing today.

I can only go until Torque 2 ingame. Anything above that is a gym session, 10 is impossible. Idk if its the natural 10nM of the T818 or if something is wrong due to DH. I had a DD Pro 8nM before and it was not even close to this. I used Torque 10 with it for a long time.

Since last Firmware the T818 has preset settings, a fixed factory (D), and 3 custom (1, 2, 3). Apparently with the DH it always loads/starts in D. I can go into PC and change, but it gets reset when I plug back into DH.

I created a ticket with TM to see if its possible to change the active preset in the wheel base directly. I don't care about having only 1 preset, but the D one is completely locked which prevents you to enable lots of the wheel features.

In PC mode it recognizes it as a cs dd pro or something like that so it's understandable there's no fullforce.

Yeah ps5 mode is worse than ps4. The fullforce kinda works, but not properly. The shifter doesn't work at all and it also has hitching. The ps4 mode is what drivehub recommends to use with a ps5 native wheelbase.

My PS5 G pro worked perfectly in PS5 mode with Fanatec CSL Elite v2 pedals. Idk.

TM answered and at the moment there is no mechanism to change the active preset in the wheel or base (like some button combinations), only with their software.

I actually think they are saving the Active Preset in Windows and not in the base. Kinda like Logitech used to do with their old softwares. It would explain why it goes to D(efault) when I plug in the console.

At the moment this is the biggest negative on using the T818 with DH: not being able to configure the base parameters.

Also its a bit of a issue that the base gets recognized as T300 instead of a TGT, cause I can't map the extra buttons my SF1000 has, as the T300 only has the default PS buttons. But this last issue is a minor problem.

About those limitations, I'm going to get a hardware to DriveHub the DriveHub: I will try to change the device I'd to a TGT, and also try to inject the same commands the software send to change the active profile. Will post the results later.

Confirmed: the base doesn't actually have multiple profiles/presets. Its the Windows app that stores presets and settings for each.

When you change the preset in the app, it kinda configure the wheel to the new parameters in that preset, instead of sending an instruction to "switch from preset 1 to 2" or something.

Unless they change this in future firmwares to store things in the base, it will never support cycling presets in the base directly. And with that the DriveHub will always use the Default settings in this base.

I got it working between the wheel and my device. But when I introduce the Drivehub between them, things go wild. Just need to figure out this and will have a proper T818 on console.
 
i know developtment is pretty much stopped, but where could i see the latest changelogs on updates?

Also any news on moza sequential shifter or handbrake being compatible? im looking for a budget option ideally for ps5 and pc.
