Soo when i got my copy gt5 i was happy excited i just kept playing tuning racing adjusting stuff such as transmission LSD 4wd system .

but there is a thing is just ummm how can i put this making me go nuts ?????

#1 clutch & flywheel

clutch and flywheel when i buy them i never feel or see or realize what difference does it make on the car's performance :grumpy:

i sometimes say to myself : why do i spend on this when it it doesn't make any differences i know its a game money is easy but can someone SHOW me how does it effect the performance of car .

#2 drive shaft

i only realized its effected on starting the car from 0 ( launching the car ) and nothing else and a bit in straight line , is that it ?

# 3 limited slip diff

at this drive train part i have no single idea what it do to the car i only know that it make car two wheel drive ( for older cars like nissan bluebird mitsubishi lancer 1985 etc )
and the adjustments for it ,,,,,,, " initial torque " , " braking sensitivity " , " acceleration sensitivity " .

can some explain to me each one of them what does it do ?
i only know what braking sensitivity do , i think it is when you remove your foot from the acceleration paddle the car de-accelerate more if you increase the number , did i get this right ?

and the others i have no idea i just put them 30 to 45 .

# 4 4wd system control

ok that an obvious part you just buy it and setup the 4wd system for what you like , but if i like the 4wd system should i buy it and make it like the original 4wd system ? like in the GT-R R35 its 65 to the back , soo should i buy it to make any difference to the 4wd performance ?

and thats it :sly: .

I'm not sure about the flywheel and driveshaft, but I do know a little about the limited slip diff and the 4WD Torque centering thingy.

The LSD can change how a car really turns and behaves. It can cause oversteer and complete catastrophic understeer, depending on your adjustment and car.

The Torque Centering (4WD system control) changes the torque bias on the wheels.
making it 50-50 would mean the the power of the engine is shared evenly, 50% each, on both front and rear wheels.
Likewise, making 10-90 would make it behave closer to an FR, as 90% of the power goes to the rear wheel, while only 10% of the power goes to the front wheels.
This, like the LSD, can also determine how cars behave.
The higher the rear bias, the more oversteer (less 4WD) you get.
That's how some people can drift their 4WD's like an FR. :)

Hope you get what I'm saying.

👍

in gt5 it said it make the car behave like ff car

and for lsd thingy its good enough thank you for super fast posting .

Most of these topics have already been discussed in extreme, mind numbing detail over in the tuning forum.
