I think the update will be announced this week but the release of it could be later.

I just went to LEVEL 62 and I got a challenge with an Audi RS6 on Loch ....(forgot the name). Is that the famous challenge? I found it very easy :odd:
 
Well not sure if it has to do with being fast. The track has 3 parts where you can loose quite a lot of time

1. First corner section after start/finish
2. Hairpin after the bridge
3. The last uphill blind corner before flooring it to the finish line.

I found the (3) the most tricky one because it has a small or huge jump before the corner itself. First time I landed in a tree accross the road.....:odd:

Also tried the Atom in one of the solo sections and that car is just terrible :sick: The only thing I want to do with it is drive it of a cliff :D


Btw I have changed the camera shaking to zero and WOW what a difference that makes. It's silky smooth :bowdown:

Yeah, I saw Jamie mention that on Twitter - maybe I'll give it a go some time, but I really like the feeling of being jostled and shaken about the place in a game.

True, those are the three pain-spots. I think the biggest problem for people with the Loch Duich elite challenge though, is the fact that it's a relatively slow car and so lost speed is more difficult to regain.

EDIT: Fast for me equates to knowing the track and being consistent (something I cannot do :)) - the cars are after all exactly the same, so it's the ability to consistently tackle corners correctly and smoothly that makes players faster.
 
True true the combination with a less powered car makes it hard to make up lost time. I find the driftchallenges within the game a lot harder than the time trial challenges. I really struggle with them.

For the camera settings: Just give it a go and maybe you'll like it ;)
 
Is it me or have EVO stopped blurring the cars in replays?

ahh, that explains it, as I have bought the bikes add-on but I haven't played DC in several weeks (hangs head in shame) due to having switched my tv to my ps3 for rock band temporarily, thanks for the pointer!
 
Is there a way to higher the difficulty in tours? In some lap races I end up being first driving alone for almost whole race(5-7 sec + lead). :guilty:

Some are extremely easy and others are quite difficult. If you have a option to choose à car before the race, make sure you choose one with weaker acceleration and topspeed. Could add to the challenge :)
 
Hmm, maybe it's just the Sakura Tour is so easy. I finished the last 9 star event on the 36th global place... :D

Well, if you're 36th on the WL then it's down to you being fast and not so much that the game is too easy ;) I think though it's this month that Evolution will be adding an easier and a tougher mode to the options - in the meantime though, like @sems4arsenal suggests, pick a comparative lemon and have fun.
 
So, 1,000,000 fame per car to unlock chrome for that vehicle - I'd best start working on a few of them, though most that I regularly drive are already well past that mark (almost 3.2m for the AMG GTS and about the same for the BAC Mono.)

I would defiantly look at my cars fame because chrome paint sounds fun.
 
I scored 1,006,871 fame on my ferrari 488 GTB. I guess I would have the chrome paint on my Ferrari.

i just got back from realizing samurai jack was returning, only to find out about the new update. Jesus christ Evo stop trying to give a heart attack! :lol:
 
After getting all 1035 stars in tours I have to say that DriveClub is the best racing game I've ever played. It literally soaked me, as I have this game+ps4 for like 2,5 week only. :cheers:

WOW have you been out the house though?:sly: Most have had it a year and not got that many stars..I do agree though it is my favourite Driving game (Ever) for many reasons : Speed, graphics (including interiors of cars and Bike details), Dynamic weather and rain/night, mix of sim and arcade handling, PHOTOMODE, Evolution and community Twitter/FB, heaps of Free content & DLC, Tours, liveries & great challenges, Bikes, feedback, updates the list is endless and not getting bored at all..I do think future arcade/Sim driving games now have serious competition and DC is here to stay on the PS4.

I am glad you made the decision and went for it late , like @doblocruiser and @CHEN255 they haven't regretted it either I am sure 👍
