eliseracerDid they really have to look into it. It is rather obvious it isn't correct, no inquieries needed.
Some of those traffic cameras can't catch you if you're going over a certain speed. I've read of Japanese tuners going through the automated toll routes at absurd speeds, the camera catches a picture of the road.

amp88On Top Gear they had to take a TVR Tuscan S "over 170mph" to evade the camera. A lot of the Japanese tuner cars (and those in the Midnight Club) are 200+ mph cars, so they'd have no problem outrunning the cameras. Fastest speeder caught in the UK was a motorbike at 155mph, I believe.
Famine...a 160mph+ M3 and a similarly quick NSX (whose case was thrown out as the judge didn't believe that the speed he was doing, in THAT car in THOSE road conditions constituted "dangerous driving", which was the offence he was charged with)...
