I just found my Driving force wheel the other day, but I was missing the original AC adapter, so I bought a universal one at circuit city (RCA 300Mpa, variable voltage levels: 1.5-12 volts). The problem is that the force feedback is weak to non-existant and makes the wheel much harder to drive (fishtailing and weaving all over). Could these be related? Anyone else have to buy a new adapter? Thanks

You're going to have to get a new adapter, most likely. The output specs on the original AC adapter are:

24V @ .75A

So the wheel is not getting enough juice it seems. Maybe try and see if Radio Shack has one that goes that high at the proper amps, or most likely you'll have to get an original from Logitech. Good luck, hope this helped.:)

EDIT: Here's the model and part #'s for the adapter in case you need them:

Logitech AC Adapter Model: ADP-18LB B
P/N:190211-0030
