Okay I can't believe I don't see any threads about this problem. In the driving options menu some adjustments only apply to the current vehicle while others change for all vehicles. It really takes away for the actual playing time
if you have to go into driving options and change things around all the time. Things like;ASM,anti-skid,steering sensitivity, abs, etc. It would be much more convenient if you only had to change it once for every car cause i will admit i do drive some cars with these options on.

Likewise, whenever you create a new lobby, it's set to it's default setting. It's quite annoying and time consuming to have to re-adjust everything, especially since reloading the track takes 10 seconds (which doesn't sound like much, but is).

tcs and abs should not be there in some old car , and added as a tune option

and just like gt4 when turn off tcs it should applyed to all .

You're onto something and I agree.

Agreed as well on both counts, personally. Drives me nuts having to constantly check that menu to turn off TC and ABS so the game can actually be fun every time I switch to a new car. But I can see why global settings would bother people who manage to find enjoyment from using aids in some specific cars, as mentioned earlier. At least I only have to do it once per car. I just never know if I've done it yet or if the game magically has decided to turn something back on or to start shifting for me.

Well, TCS, ASM, and auto are not meant to be “mechanical” or real things on the cars. They’re meant for players who have trouble controlling throttle accurately, knowing how to control the car, and shift. TSC is like feathering the throttle to not spin the tires more than a real computer-based TCS you find on cars.

Very good points. I think if they allowed you an option to only have the assists available on the car, it'd be a very interesting and enhance the realism of the car.

For example; would a '71 Mustang have TCS? Heck no. Would the '49 Beetle have ABS... nope! This would also be interesting for race cars, etc. You could setup lobbies with "Real Car Assists" and it limits the options.

Just for giggles, say the SLS only allows 0-2 TCS, doesn't have anything like ASM, and only ABS 0-3. You wouldn't have anyone running 4, 6, 10 TCS, or ASM, and no 10 ABS.

WRC and FIA cars have virtually no options (correct me if I'm wrong, please). Sure you can use the assists on your own time, but racing with a pack of purists that want it off... one touch option!

I agree with what has been said here. Very annoying to have to turn off everything every time I switch cars.

I agree. So much so, I recommend that you put this suggestion here, where it'll actually do some good. Good job, and good thinking.

This. Maybe they will add this in an update, but probably not. It really isn't a big deal, but it's still annoying. ~Turtle
