Is that... no way, it can't be! Sense!!

Only tourists ride the monorail - it doesn't actually go anywhere useful.

It does if you're a tourist! If you're a tourist, it goes everywhere!!!

That a great line vat_man.

Thanks for the pics man, really great shots, I am surprized that in Austrialia, they dont have barriers between on-coming traffic so as to avoid head-on collisions, you Aussie's must be super duper drivers to avoid that :)

 ...

No, wait..

:rotfl:

Super duper drivers....

Seriously though, in NSW particularly it's pretty rare that there aren't barriers separating traffic directions - most of Sydney's roads are pretty narrow and the lanes aren't the widest. The Harbour Bridge is a bit of an exception, because there's no way to mount mobile barriers to deal with the variable lanes.

..and Giles - even for tourists the monorail doesn't go anywhere useful. At least the useless light rail goes to the casino!

I knew that. I thought it had some sort of conspiratorial Australian message.

Apparently not. :grumpy:

No - it has the ultimate safety feature - my partner as the owner.

Ouch! There go the Yokohama rims, custom exhaust and customized suspension. Three essential things for an urban orientated male.

hey vat, you goin to the auto salon?

Probably not - is that like modded cars and stuff? I only go to the Sydney Motor Show. Not a fan of the modded stuff.

Well, I'd heard some talk about the B4 delivering big numbers when worked up - it is a twin turbo. The Impreza can manage mid 200's fairly easily. It's 190 stock in Australia on the crook ULP, so cleaning up exhaust and ignition would pick up some pretty good results pretty quickly.

I think in Japan modders have dragged 270kw out of the RSK just with an aircleaner and a cat-back exhaust.

Thanks for the pictures, vat_man! Are there more photo tours of Sydney in our future...? :)
