I have decided to drive all cars without any aids at all. As you can imagine it's a lot tougher, so much so that I'm wondering just what the heck was I thinking. Anyways, my main problem is throttle control, specifically coming out of corners. I am wondering if there is a setting in the game that limits throttle response. I mentioned I am using a controller and am using the R2 trigger button as throttle. I still have to tune a majority of my cars to the no aids thing but what I am looking for are any tips beyond tuning that I might need in driving with no aids on. At this time I have no intention of getting a wheel. Thanks.

I use only ABS 1 because trying to modulate brakes with L2 is about darn near impossible. TCS would be the aid that limits throttle response, but if you want to tweak your pad for more control without using aids, then move acceleration to the right stick. I use right stick forward for acceleration and L2 for brake, you get full modulation and control of the throttle while being able to use the brake simultaneously.

What budious said. The right stick works very good for throttle control, especially with the new sensitivity setting.
