Ladies, ladies.. Let's calm down. We all know that people who support V8's are overcompensating for smaller things in their lives. Also, rotaries are like Muslim extremists, they are bound to blow up sooner or later.

That's why I say..

VTEC all day!! All that tasty turbo lag. :)
 
Hey now lets play nice. We all no the way hondas works ok?. Lag for 4k rpms, Boost, Then VTEC, then Lag at the next gear change.. Common on man.

Most of the time the gears of a stock Honda tranny are pretty short.

By the way. We are ridiculously off topic. Again.
 
Actually we are not. We are talking about our engine choices in drift machines. So at are next meet why dont we all come out in our favorite choice in engines and see which is better and a variety of different tracks?
 
I don't see anything with rotary's. Their very light, give great weight distribution, their small which gives you lots of room. Look at Darren McNamara's 86, 13b bridgeported producing 600hp, and around 650nm of torque. And it weighs nearly 900kg!
 
And they eat a lot of oil and are pretty unreliable ;) Other than that there awesome 👍

Yes but you put 2 cyl oil in the gas. Unreliable i dont believe. Ive owned fc's and a fb. Ive had no problems. And been to a event where a guy had a 3 rotor waitinv to be put in, so he was trying to blow the old one. Had no luck.
