So here is my day.
I almost got into a motorcycle accident twice
The guy I was going to sell my bike to was only joking about buying it
the guy I was going to buy the control arms from sold them to someone else
And to top it all off my car breaks down and doesn't want to start now and I had to pay 70 bucks to tow it to my house.

HOORAY FOR 240'S

HOORAY FOR 240'S

I know your pain I hate/love 240

So I have done some research and hopfully it is the starter going out due to it is cranking once and makes a ticking noise like the sylenoid is trying to engage but the starter itself is shot

Smack the starter with a bar while trying to start it. That will tell you. Too bad it not manual you can push start it.

I remember when I rode with Wade Odrey along with Rise and he had to bump start his 240 many times that day, it was a battery issue though.
From my car experience Wes, a ticking starter could be the battery (normal) or the starter motor is too shot to have the power to turn the car over. When the starter went out in the 944 it fried half the wiring harness and took out 2 cells of the battery. Turns over like a champ now.

Yea I am taking the alternator to auto zone to get it checked out I jumped it and it ran fine till I killed it and it didn't start again. on a side note I did a quick Rear window wiper removal off of my blue 240 while it was there lol

Sounds like a battery to me.

Definately a dead battery to me. It might not be the alternator though, could be an electrical short somewhere that's draining the power out of the battery. Very common in our vans and trucks. If its not the alternator, its that or the battery. Charge the battery and see will it hold it for a day and start. If not its a short. The simple fix is to put a switch on the + cable. (forget the proper name of the switch, but ours usually have a big knob sticking out. And yes I do get it :P)

About to open a public lobby for SR Sunday! Anything SR20 powered is welcome! If anyone is interested I will post the number in about 2 minutes.

Room Number!:1472-6118-3615-5260-0337

Spankorz you got on netflix I was actually going to drift. Lameboat.

I had the room open for 1 hour no one came in. So shut it down because GT5 is gay without my team and they are never on at the same time or at all. I havent been on gt5 in like 4 days haha.

Whelp, Got it all fixed and I didn't spend a dime on any part didn't even take any parts to auto zone. I simply looked at me two KA motors and went hmmmmm alternator must be the same and whoopie they were turns out the 89's alt had a nice coating of grease all around it and it shot itself and so I replaced it with my blue ones alt since I wont be using its KA anytime soon lol. I now believe my red and blue car share a special bond ........and alternator and a idiot teenage driver lol.

Time to start driving my daily like its a daily instead of a drift car.(wonder how long thats going tom last) But as of now the car is running great.

You say its running great now. lol. I said I was going to drive the 944 conservatively to make sure nothing else happens. I drive it easy enough that nothing happens but there is something magical that happens past 5 grand in that car. Still want a 951 at some point but hey doesn't everyone want a turbo model at some point?
