Put the 5spd off the KA in the pig nose. Now you have a "fun" daily. Then keep building the drift car.

Thats a great idea actually But would I need to buy clutch and would the Ka24de hook up to the Sohc model?
 
I still find it odd that Nissan went with a 12v instead of an 8v. I saw a turbo 12v on Ebay and it made more torque than a SR20. It was a let down on the top end though.
 
I bet that the 12v sounds really awesome with an exhaust. At least distinctive.

Its the same block just a different head.

You might even be able to put the dohc head from the blue one on the red one's block. And if not, take the whole dohc long block and put the red car's internals into it. It would be quite a bit of work but may be worth it.
 
I don't think that all that time is worth what, 15 horsepower. I think the 12v has 140 from the factory and the 16v has 155 from factory. I say screw it and enjoy the 12v

Yeah the leather sucks. My moms car kills me on long drives. After about 2 hours my back and ass are sweaty and it's horrible
 
I used to like weather when I didn't travel much, and that its easy to clean, but now I have it. Don't like suede either, Kinda itchy..
 
The sad truth is that sitting in the same seat for 4 hours just sucks regardless of how nice it is. I can't imagine endurance racers sitting in carbon fiber bucket seats practically laying down for 4 stints straight. The butt cramps. I'd be killing for a massage
