As I said, you can change you car now, you can also change it after round 26, this is based on first come, first served, but, your tamate must agree with you, so don't go posting 2 minuites after this thread, 'we'll take Vauxhall Astra', when your teamate has not agreed.

I am changing from Opel Astra to Audi A4 (only if Team A4 also change of course).

Current Changes:

Audi TT Team 2 - Vauxhall Astra.
Vauxhall Astra - Audi TT Team 2.
Audi TT - Audi A4
Audi A4 - Audi TT

Shouldn't be better to change after Round 12?
We will have enough time to discuss the problem with our teammembers until that date.

Agreed!

We could do it in 8 round periods, then do a free-for-all for the last couple of races?

Neil

I'll agree to take whatever Laz wants 👍
I also like the idea of doing it at round 12, adding two races.
Yet, if you want the change to happen here, at round 8... Neil has the right of it.... open it up to anything for the last couple of races... change to match the track of the week... maybe one car is better for the team in a city vs. a regular road track. Yes, that could bring about all of us in the same car for the same track. But it's the only fair way to do it.

Also, what happens if your team wants to change into a car that another team doesn't want to move out of ?

Just some random thoughts from an old man trying to wake up... LOL

J.R.

Great idea,Neil!!!Four parts included in one serie.
I will PM to oldphart about the changing...now.
Maybe this one will be the TT.

Sorted!

Plus next round is around one of my favorite tracks - Seattle!

W'Hoo!

Neil

Well, thats sorted then, any other changes?

If TS agrees oldphart and me take him out of his TT and put him into our A4.
My partner drinks his coffee too long.. but said an O.K. for me.
How can it be that an ex-elite wakes up so slowly?:)

 Sir ?
LOL, Laz, now I know I'm old :grumpy: .... LOL

One of the great joys in life is being able to suck down a pot of coffee :)
Not having someone trying to put an extra hole in me in the morning is a good thing :sly: ... taking the time to read two newspapers, catch up on the news, watching the blunders of world governments .... ahh, the simple pleasures.

I'll start running the Seattle circut once we get ok'd about the switch 👍
I like Seattle better than I do Hong Kong. Doesn't mean I'll be quicker, just happier :dopey:

With BTW and Drew in a faster car, well, I'm expecting some big points out of you two

J.R.

That's why I take 4 or 5 cups of it per day.:dopey:
We will see how much slower this Abt TT beauty. Not much in the hotlaps,I think...The race will be something different...:nervous:

4-5 cups a day!!!!!!!!!!!

God that's a morning's worth! Must be the ex-forces in us eh? J.R.

The ex- bit is the salient point, when people either stop shouting at you or trying ( as J.R. said) , trying to put extra holes in you b4 breakfast. Nothing BUT loads of caffine wakes you up properly! :)

The TT isn't slower, it just doesn't go round corners whilst preserving front tyres!

But hey! with a four round rotation, we will all get to experience the joy!

I've consistently gotten a whopping every race in that TT, I'll try that A4 just to see if my luck starts to change.

took the TT out yesterday... interesting car ... sprung like a wired monkey...and where is the info for Seattle ?

Yeah, the handling takes some getting used to, you'll figure it out though.

After doing the Seattle race with the TT the tyre wear to me didnt seem too bad at all on the fronts, id actually go as far as saying it has better front wear than the Astra, maybe its just my driving style, though I have learned a few tyre saving techniques in the FGT series recently :sly: But I am loving driving the TT, much more fun than the Astra and has a way cooler sound aswell and much more suits my driving style :) Thanks for the top trade of cars mate

Yeah east the TT does sound great, but my driving style (or lack of) just doesn't suit an AWD car. I found tire wear about the same for both the TT and Astra, my front left went red first, followed closely by the front right...Duh!! As far as fun factor I think I like the Astra better. Maybe I like the Astra cause it handles more like the JGTC cars I've been driving (RX7)for the last 6 months and 4 months last season( Altezza Touring Car). Anyway it's fun changing cars...thanks guys!!
