Wow, Sphinx really went off the wall back there. I had talked about the BMW being better too, but thought it was just casual conversation.. normal for a GT thread. Didnt mean to ruin the fun for anybody. especially sphinx, who we all know is one of the better drivers in all of GTP.
After running the cars, we all know that, save the alfa and MB190, they are really, pretty damn close. Yes some tracks will favor some drivers or cars, and some drives or cars will suck.. but thats what a racing series is! Regardless of whether or not you are in the best car, you have to strive to be the best driver. You dont see the Minardi guys throwing in their towel just because their car isnt competitive. You dont see one M. Schumacher leaving F1 because people think his winning is "all the car". They find their own goals. Mine is to be the best Audi driver, regardless of whether or not it gets me wins.
This is a great series with lots of potential and I dont understand how a few comments against a car/driver could bring the whole thing down.
I for one plan to race the whole series, (time dependant) if for nothing else than out of respect for appie's first try at creating one, regardless of "lack of testing", "having a better/ worse car" or any other excuse somone could use to downplay appie's series.
