Yes, it's here, the 34 race DTM tournament, this thread will contain everything you need to know about round 11.​



El Captain (Forward).​
Qualification​
Race - 9 Laps​



Before Race Rules​

Transmission Top Speed setting may be altered
You may use Racing Super Soft Tires for Qualifying only
​



Qualification Rules​

Racing Super Soft Ties may be used.
There is not limit to how many qualification laps you run, but please PM me your race and qualification lap in at the same time.
Rumble strips are part of the track.
Please do not use any cheat devices while qualifing or racing.

Race Rules​

Please run only the given amount of laps.
If you ever go off the track, return to the course but add 2 seconds to your overall race time.

Please do not use any cheat devices while qualifing or racing.​




After Race Rules​

Please only PM me your times in between the given dates unless you have a reason (holiday etc.).
Don't argue about your qualifing position or race result, if anything seems suspicious, I will take care of it.​

For some reason woke up too damn early this morning (5am) so decided to stay up and quickly whip my times together as im not sure if I will be near my PS2 or PC for the next couple weeks. So my times are in, i'm very happy with my qualy run, i'm also confident that I have a good race time aswell, even though the damn AI cost me 2 whole seconds on my final lap!

EDIT: George, I may have missed a digit in my "race" time submission, just as I clicked the submit button I felt I got something wrong! The first two digits of my race time are 14, I think I messed up by not putting the 4 and just having 1 :D sorry!

Just went and did a bit, only a couple of laps at different settings, trying to get an idea of what the TT wants at this place..... like me, it wants to be elsewhere :scared: .... LOL

I'm a couple of seconds quicker than in the Ford GT.... shows you how me and that car are getting along :( ... at least the TT keeps the tires on the tarmak !

Like the LM series, I'll be in the back of the pack once again :(

Ok, drove the snot out of this today, and am still about a second behind my partner :grumpy: ... but considering how he's been kicking my a$$ the whole season :dopey: I figure a second isn't that bad 👍

I've run the race 3 times so far. Twice with the RS's and once with the RM's. Neil, mate ? I'm having one hell of a time getting this buggy around on RS's :crazy: by the time I'm on the last half of the track, I'm bright red and shifting into a gear I haven't used.... bloody ice !

I've shaved a total of 7 seconds ? off my first attempt, still have a bit more out there. Have been lapping the whole field before the end of the race...buggers !

Not sure if I can get the time down even more before the deadline, as I've got to figure out how to drive a pogo stick around Seattle and beat the snot out of my co-driver..... say hello to my little friend :sly:

As for the race, I ran the hell out of RM fronts and RS rears for the whole race. 5+4 laps, for some reason I didn't feel like playing the tyre-king role this week and just ragged the hell out of the tyres for the whole thing!

Maybe it'll work, maybe it won't?

There is no way to get 5 laps out of softs and be competetive this week buddy! Just go with mediums and be damned! :D

I tried the RM's and chose to run them into the ground. Only problem was that I was getting just as many laps as I was in the RS's and slower !... I've tried the RS's again and shave a few more seconds off the time that I had. It may be the best I can get out of them.... and when did I become competitive ? :lol: ... Have you looked at the point standings lately ? I've busted my butt just trying to get close to my partner's time in the qual, and I'm still around a second off ! :ouch:

I tried RH's, too hard and a little low on grip, RM's, still a little hard and a little low on grip. Next are the RS's.
 
Racefan88051 is deducted 10 points.

Reason - Ran AI to high in Round 7 - DQ'ed self from race.

Results posted, well done to our winner and thank you for another week with no suspicious times (although CCX was disqualifed for a diffrent reason).
